Longacre boasts over 2 acres of boxwood and garden spaces to create a beautiful outdoor and English Garden wedding scene. We have several locations within the grounds for receptions and ceremonies to accommodate 25 to 150 guests. The Gazebo works as both a great wedding arch with the fountain area perfect for reception gathering of a Tudor house backdrop to your ceremony. Grounds can be rented for the day or the entire weekend, including the entire house and Carriage House for your caterer and wedding ready space. Make your wedding day the most unique and individually designed as you have dreamed. All catering services must be contracted through a third party. We can help you with tent and equipment rentals.

The Keswick Hunt Club was founded in 1896, and the building with its 2018 renovation can host wedding receptions, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, and every special celebration. Recently renovated the building now has modern amenities that will provide your guests much comfort while enjoying the beautiful Virginia countryside. The entrance and restrooms have ADA accommodations, new HVAC for all seasons, additional new dining space, and a new modern catering kitchen for your favorite caterer. The wrap around porch can be used for cocktail receptions or provide additional seating if needed. A stone patio has been added adjacent to the porch to enjoy the Virginia countryside. The main dining room has an elevated stage for your band to play and for your toasts to be given on your happy occasion.

The facility can be leased for community events, musical performances, parties, weddings, and more. The old Amherst Baptist Church was the home of that church's congregation until 2005. Its sanctuary was constructed in 1882, making it the second oldest religious structure still standing in the Town of Amherst. Starting in 2012, a grassroots group took the initiative to save a historic structure in the heart of Amherst, VA, and to re-purpose it as a creative community center. Located in the middle of a vibrant village, the goal was to provide a gathering place for events. The gardens of Historic Tuckahoe offer an unforgettable outdoor venue just outside of Richmond, VA. This charming property offers guests a number of beautiful garden spaces and manicured lawns to host your once-in-a-lifetime event. Famously known as the childhood home of Thomas Jefferson, the 18th-century house and outbuildings provide a fascinating backdrop for outdoor celebrations. The venue at Historic Tuckahoe is the ideal setting for your long-awaited celebration. A pet-friendly venue, Tuckahoe offers many spaces, including a ceremony site and several reception areas. Both sides of the wedding party have access to "get-ready rooms," in the Historic Main House and the Old Stable.
