Mimosa Barn is a stunning wedding venue that is located in Cape Charles, VA. This structure is surrounded by 17 acres of sprawling fields and foliage. The fairy tale property is home to osprey, herons, and bald eagles. This romantic destination is situated on the edge of Eyre Hall Creek on the eastern shore of Virginia. Nearby are the charming local communities of Cape Charles and Cheriton, offering convenient places to visit or stay during a getaway. The owners of this property are proud to present their turn-of-the-century building for a wide range of events. Soak in the unique culture of this historic Chesapeake Bay area community.

We have 4,500 square feet of indoor space; this includes our cozy tasting room and adjacent event space. The event space also gives you access to the cupola where you’ll have a 360-degree view of the estate winery. It’s quite spectacular! We also have nearly 3,000 square feet of covered, wrap-around porch. It too, is an equally great space and overlooks various fields. You’ll often see our Grape Vine Patrol Squad (rescue dogs) out walking in the fields. We have eleven in all, and their job is to patrol the vineyards and keep out prey. They’re all friendly, enjoy meeting new people and being petted. In addition, feel free to inquire about using acreage surrounding the tasting and production facility for your private event. Riverwalk Restaurant's private event space caters to meetings, receptions, luncheons and dinners for groups of up to 200 guests. Located on the shores of the York River, in historic Yorktown, Virginia. The venue offers wide views of the York River, Coleman Bridge, Gloucester shoreline and the varied boat traffic. Our food and beverage service include continental breakfasts, receptions with hosted or cash bars, an array of hors d'oeuvres, and also plated lunch and dinner menus.
