Where elegance and frugal unite. The Davis-Shai House is a historical 1861 Gothic Revival home/venue that offers classic charm that marries elegance with affordability. Our Camelot room offers large windows with natural light, a gorgeous crystal chandelier and views of the front gardens. The Fairview room has a fireplace, glass doors to join the Camelot room and doors that open to the outdoor veranda and front gardens. In-house catering or preferred caterer with a variety of menu options to select. Our menu options include plated lunches and dinner, English teas, and party packages (light hors d’oeuvres and appetizers), as well as bar service. All event rentals include: indoor tables, chairs, all table linens, centerpieces, glassware, drinks, set up and clean up, and friendly staff and volunteers. The entire venue is yours, and this includes surround sound music (yes, you may cast up your own device!), 2 ideal photo backdrop walls, 8 tables, 30+ chairs, a lounge area, and free parking. A projector and small screen for PowerPoints/presentations (and laptop computer) are available upon request if needed! Microphone available upon request. High-speed wifi for all guests. Seats up to 32 guests comfortably and is completely BYOB (alcoholic or non). Cater in a meal or just provide finger foods for the guests. We provide a mini-fridge, plastic cups, bottle openers, and large ice bins to keep your beverages cool. Incorporate gift-opening, party games, awards/ceremonies, and decorations if you wish.
