I never would have thought about having my wedding here, at a "ski resort." We are not skiers. What drew me here was a picture!! The inside of the Tent (seasonal location) was breath taking!! We were scrolling and clicking on EVERY venue listed. NOTHING had that "oh la la" appeal. My FH went to bed and I kept looking. Then, I came upon GP. The next evening I showed him and he said, "If you want it then let's make an appointment!" So I reached out and left a message. The Wedding Events Coordinator (Chelsea) got back to me in a timely manner and we set up a meeting. She showed us around to their other locations on site. Then we went into the Tent. And it was ABSOULTELY BREATH TAKING when we were inside!! It was definitely LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!!!! Chelsea talked to us about what GP has to offer, as far as wedding packages, etc. We booked GP by the end of 2021; and we just got married last month! In order to have your date, the venue and at the exact location on premises you want- you need to book ASAP!! Chelsea is an EXTREMELY busy woman with a lot on her plate!! I do think she needs an assistant especially around wedding season!! Lol!!! Chelsea does a wonderful job by herself, even though she does have a "team" that does wonders too!! She helped us through the whole process and gave some personal insight. She's very thorough with every single detail. She was AWESOME to talk to, deal with and plan with!!!! The food was AMAZING!!! Our guests couldn't stop raving about their appetizers during cocktail hour, the main meal for the reception (we picked out Country Side Glam Buffet), their cocktails, their rooms, and just the ATMOSPHERE itself is enough! The staff also plans meals for food allergies- a lot of other venues don't cater to this! Inside the Tent, it didn't feel like you were in a Tent. Don't judge a book by it's cover! Lol! We were the only wedding there on our day, so that definitely made it feel more special and enjoyable! We enjoyed working with Chelsea, the staff and Greek Peak!! The prices were extremely affordable! Some of my family and guests didn't REALLY want to travel 1.5 hours (minimum). After the wedding, they understood why we chose to have our wedding at Greek Peak. We, our families and friends, and other guests would HIGHLY RECOMMEND GREEK PEAK for a wedding, a getaway, a honeymoon. You name it!! Thank you so much Chelsea, Greek Peak's staff & Greek Peak!!!!! Our Wedding Day was PERFECT!!!!!!!!

We loved having our wedding at Montdale Country Club! Their communication was always fast and efficient over text, which made planning a breeze. The venue itself was simply gorgeous, with a spacious patio and gazebo overlooking the lake that made for beautiful photos and an unforgettable reception. The staff helped set up and take down decorations, and provided excellent customer service to us and our guests throughout the event. The food was delicious - all our guests were raving about it! Our guests also could not stop talking about what an amazing wedding it was. Between the gorgeous scenery, delicious food, and helpful staff, Montdale really helped make our wedding day special and run so smoothly. We highly recommend them for any couple's big day!

We received so many compliments on how AMAZING the food was for our wedding, and we felt the same way during our tasting. Ashley and the chef, who I believe is her husband, go above and beyond to ensure the food quality is exceptional. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the inside of the venue was! The building is absolutely stunning, and it provided the most gorgeous backdrop for our photos. One of my favorite moments was walking into the reception and seeing our family and friends all around the venue, especially upstairs on the second floor—it was such a cool, unique experience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and we are so grateful for their hard work. The pricing is also fantastic—it’s straightforward, includes so much, and is truly a great value for what you get. Even though we traveled from outside of Philadelphia, I’m originally from the Pittston area, and it was well worth the trip! I would absolutely book this venue again for future events if I’m having them in the area. We couldn’t recommend this venue enough. From the moment we first spoke with John at the John Joseph Inn, my husband and I felt incredibly cared for and supported. This was the first and only venue we visited when we first started planning and we knew right away this would be the place for our wedding day. John's thoughtful and flexible communication style put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. The stunning grounds and elegant venue felt like something out of a movie - the perfect backdrop for our special day. John and his team went the extra mile to incorporate every detail that was important to us, including working with us to build a custom menu that featured chicken from our family farm and custom desserts inspired by our mothers' recipes. The ability to have welcome cocktails and a day-after brunch all on the property allowed our guests, some of whom traveled a great distance, to spend more quality time celebrating with us. We also had plenty of kids attend, and they were having the time of their lives playing in the orchard throughout the wedding weekend. My fiance' and I committed to Dutch Harvest Farm when it was nothing but a drawing on a page and acres of land covered by trees and tall grass. Many people thought we were crazy for signing a contract without seeing the finished product, but they hadn't met Laura. Laura is communicative, excited, caring and thoughtful. Our experience with her thus far has been nothing but positive, and that is difficult to say when you had to cancel your initial wedding due to COVID-19. She has helped us navigate the complex situation and continues to keep us informed even throughout the madness. Although we have not had our wedding just yet, we are ecstatic for our day at DHF and can't wait to share the venue we have seen come to fruition with as many friends and family as we can! At the Inn, customization is limitless - a blank canvas (well, if you consider a blank canvas to be gorgeous gardens, sprawling staircase, and stunning tent) awaits. We worked with Tania-lynn who was an absolute rockstar and made our wildest dreams come to life. Every 'I" was dotted and every "T" was crossed. We didn't have a worry in the world when we walked onto the grounds on our wedding day. I can't speak more highly about the experience, staff, accommodations, and wedding day (and I've been dreaming about this day since I was a little girl!). Highly recommended ! We are so over the moon happy that we were able to celebrate our rehearsal dinner at Osmica farm for a little over 100 guests. Can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience! Our families were so impressed by the natural, rustic and inviting feel of the farm! The owners, Allie and Kurt were truly a joy to work with! They were so responsive and helped us so beautifully plan every detail of our day! They helped us with our table decorations, beautiful flower arrangements and other rentals! The list of the vendors they provided were also so nice and responsive and easy to work with. They truly made our experience completely stress free! The farm has the most stunning sunset and lots of space indoors and outdoors for kids and adults to enjoy lawn games. And the most meaningful thing is that Allie and Kurt were so friendly and introduced themselves to our guests, everyone loved them. They were available and ready to help from the first to the last minute. We will definitely visit and stay at their beautiful bed and breakfast in the future.

I will never have the words to accurately describe what our wedding weekend at Gilbertsville was like. To say it was a dream would be an understatement. First things first, we booked this place in the dead of winter - like actual snow on the ground - because even without knowing what it looks like in season we knew it was unreal. From then on, the process leading up to our wedding was nothing short of pleasant and exciting. The team - Sharon and Gina - are extremely responsive and never make you feel like your questions are too small or trivial, they understand how important the day is to you and are in the process with you. Our tasting with Shane and his team was just another incredible day that solidified we made the right choice. I've been to plenty of weddings but Gilbertsville's food is so spectacular and nowhere near just the typical churned out wedding chicken and steak. Then our wedding weekend came and we never wanted it to end. The property itself it's just so incredible, even the adults were reverting to childhood when they saw all the animals and the glamping tents. Katie and George took such good care of us throughout the weekend and were always positive, happy, helpful and matched our vibe of just being in a good mood. I truly don't have enough good things to say about this place as a wedding, or the people who work here. Handsome Hollow is a truly rare place. This new Catskill Mountains Barn venue is on 93 stunning acres of meadows, forests, streams, and mountains. The meticulously restored 18th-century English barn is 4,200 sf and includes two finished bathrooms, a catering area, and a 1000 sf bluestone cocktail patio. The rental of the Handsome Hollow venue also includes two nights for six in the elegantly restored 19th-century farmhouse. We are proud to have been featured in Brides, Martha Stewart Weddings, and NY Magazine.

Having our wedding at Handsome Hollow was an absolute dream. Kate and her team are professional, thorough, and beyond helpful before and on the day of the wedding. The location and grounds are stunning! We chose to have our ceremony in the fern forest a little ways up from the barn - it's like walking into a fairytale. The barn is a beautiful reception space that's open, inviting, and even more magical after sunset under the glowing string lights! We had a few guests including a couple of our family members who required assistance walking at certain times, but that was not a problem at all... The team communicates like special special forces to make sure everyone is comfortable and anyone requiring assistance gets shuttled swiftly by an off road buggy wherever they need to go! We also got shuttled as Bride & Groom does have it's privelages :) It was such a relief to know everyone was taken care of. Staying in the guest house was fantastic. The morning of the wedding I got ready upstairs in the barn loft, while my wife had the farmhouse the with hair/makeup and all of that. It's such a cute house, and was so nice to not have any traveling before our big day. Everything you would need is stocked at the farmhouse and help always seemed readily available if needed. It was just the relaxed easy going atmosphere we needed to chill out as much as possible before the wedding. There are so many great nooks and places for photo ops at Handsome Hollow! For a summer day it wasn't too hot at all, maybe the elevation helps a bit with that! It was warm before the ceremony when we took some photos in the sun, but we just cooled down in the farmhouse afterwards. The ceremony in the fern garden was under cover of trees so it was perfectly cool (both temperature and vibes!) The barn just seems to stay cool also, so that was no issue at all. We didn't get a chance to eat our desserts, so the team brought them up to the farmhouse for us to enjoy after the wedding was over. It's that level of hospitality, and so appreciated. My only regret is that I couldn't split myself into two people so I could not only get married, but also see the food buffet, see the s'mores by the campfire, watch our first dance (we nailed it!!). Luckily we had a phenomenal wedding planner (Lauren / Wild Blooms Bridal), and phenomenal photographer (Joshua Brown) to compliment the venue! It was truly an amazing day, and we can't thank you enough. You cannot go wrong with Handsome Hollow!!!

The room for the cocktail hour was set up wonderfully. Table settings are included with the package and the candles looked perfect. We felt secure in knowing we could easily move the ceremony inside with any weather concerns. The landscaping/greenery is so well taken care of, it looked fantastic for our ceremony outside on the patio. The hotel staff set up, serve, and clean up - it made for a very relaxing weekend. Our hotel room was incredible also. The hotel was generous with leaving little surprises and gifts for us when we arrived to our room. It was all worth the price.
