About this venue

The Port Watson Mini-Conference Center is the premier venue for gatherings in the Cortland area. Located just minutes from historic downtown Cortland this family-owned business is centrally located between Syracuse, Ithaca, and Binghamton. Three indoor event spaces are available for rent, suitable to host anything from small intimate gatherings to large weddings of up to 100 guests. Our newest addition, the pavilion, is our outdoor venue perfect for weddings looking to take advantage of the warmer weather. Each room is entirely customizable to your needs and for your convenience, all tables and chairs are included in your rental.

The Reception Hall

Elegant Backdrop For Nuptial Events

The Reception Hall is our largest room measuring 30′ by 70′ and seats 99 people. Suitable for all types of large gatherings, this room is equipped with surround sound, a disco ball, and a kitchenette. This room also has three projectors so you can showcase photos and videos during your reception. For weddings and other parties, the sconce lights in the room can change color to match your theme.

The Pavilion

The perfect spot for your outdoor wedding

Located behind the conference center, the pavilion is the perfect spot for your outdoor wedding. This casual setting is the perfect spot for your wedding ceremony or reception. The pavilion comes with picnic table seating for up to 120 but the space can be customized to your needs. The lawn space around the pavilion can be used for your ceremony, seating, or dancing. The pavilion is lighted so your party doesn't have to end just because the sun goes down.
