“Me oh my, how do we even begin to describe our friends at King of Hearts? My wife Julia and I did intensive research on every band option possible, and it was the charm, grace, warmth, and orientation to producing a custom experience--all clear from our first phone call with Mark--that sold us. "When you know, you know" as they say, and boy was this the case with Mark and his amazing crew at KOH. We contracted for the 9 piece band and had a number of special songs that needed to be played for special people in our guest list (a friend's birthday that day, another couple's wedding anniversary, and honoring a friend's late mother's birthday). Mark did not hesitate to collaboratively plan with us to ensure these surprises were delivered with seamless ease. I also planned a flash mob for my fiance which involved the band playing in at the end over a pre recorded song and segueing into the full set without skipping a beat. Mark was game for all of it. It's clear from the first time you talk to him, King of Hearts is this man's baby. He cares for it deeply and takes enormous pride in the finished product. Mark is also an exceptional emcee of sorts. In lieu of anyone else in that role, at the dinner Mark played host to introduce our best man speeches and other major moments, flashing that incredible smile of his and charming the entire tent of 170 guests. Multiple people approached me during and after the big day to ask, "Who IS this man?" He is truly exceptional at what he does. The quality of the full band is [insert 100 emoji here]. It really made the night. Guest after guest came up to me while dancing to say what amazing energy the band set for the whole evening. Folks who *are not dancers* made their way to the dance floor--and stayed. About half of the guest list were trained musicians or vocalists or creatives of some sort (big a cappella nerd over here) and even the hardest to impress among them were taken by the show KOH put on. It's hard to have a critique of these folks! Even a small hiccup with our first dance song was seamlessly corrected within seconds and the rest of the night went off without a hitch. We regret not getting to know the other band members, but we vibed with them (all)(night)(long). Big love to these guys! Don't hesitate to book them.”

Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! “I recently officiated a wedding that Scott dj'ed and handled the sound for, and I really wanted to send him a special thank you for being such a great professional and great human. I've officiated 6 weddings for friends but this was the first one post-Covid, and Scott's professionalism and flexibility really made a huge difference for me and the anxiety I was feeling after a long lay-off from this sort of thing... making me feel a lot more comfortable and able to relax and enjoy the event and do a really excellent job for the bride and groom. I am confident when it comes to finding the words and performing the ceremony, but worrying about the sound equipment and cues is a big source of stress for me. It's hard to be fully present as an officiant while trying to remember the cues and technical details other DJs kind of just dictated to me. Scott was the first wedding dj who, when I wanted to avoid dealing with a hand mic or that sort of thing, just had the attitude of "no problem, you worry about your job, and I'll make sure you sound great." Instead of "remember these technical details and cues or else the audio will be lousy". And on top of that he just has a really great, encouraging, positive attitude. It's obvious from a mile away he loves what he does, and that making wedding days special is a calling for him and not just a gig or job. His energy radiates into everyone around him. I've been in the military and private healthcare, and I'm just very cognizant of and appreciative of people who have a total mastery of what they do, and a great attitude that makes everyone around them more confident and makes the mission not just more successful but more enjoyable. This is the first time I've been so moved by a wedding vendor's performance and attitude that I tracked them down so I could thank them and write a review for them. Thank you so much Scott, and if you're reading this looking for a wedding dj who is going to do more than spin tracks and run the microphones- somebody who knows and loves weddings and will lend his confidence and positivity and energy to everyone involved- Scott is your man.”

“We booked Silver Arrow Band after seeing them at a friends wedding. From the first booking, they were so responsive and accommodating. They learned 2 songs for us and absolutely nailed them despite it being the first time they'd ever played them live.
