We took advantage of the full venue. We loved everything: it was perfect!

The park also tells the story of the original people of this region, the Tongva/Gabrieliño Indians, in a dramatic exhibit nestled within the trees on the park's west side. At the entrance, visitors are greeted by a railroad exhibit featuring a vintage A.T.& S.F. steam locomotive. The ruins of a large adobe home, built during Mexican rule, flank the park's largest building, the Carriage Barn, which houses a museum.

Heritage Park and Clarke estate are two hidden gem venues I love telling future clients about along with friends and family. Working there as a preferred vendor for nearly 5 years now has been a great experience as a vendor and for my clients as well. Working together with a venue to ensure the couples day is going well without a hitch is very important and let me tell you Leanne and her staff consistently work together and hard to make sure of that. Not only are both venues historic they're also affordable. That is a perfect combination for a venue Especially when people need to accommodate large guests 200-300 guests. Highly recommend both venues I do work more at heritage Park since their guest capacity is 300 but I always look forward to working with Leanne. Always a great experience.

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at Throop Unitarian Universalist Church and were so pleased with their beautiful, spacious venue. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful in the planning process, with clear communication every step of the way. They accommodated several special requests we had to make our day perfect. The venue itself is gorgeous with large windows flooding the space with natural light. Our only feedback would be that the space got quite warm during our summer event with all the body heat and dancing. We ended up renting an ac unit from a third party. Overall, Throop UUC was a wonderful partner in creating our dream wedding.

She was so helpful and professional and went above and beyond to make sure we had a plan A and plan B for the weather. We ended up moving the ceremony to the courtyard for shade and moving the reception inside to the grand hall, and it turned out beautifully. Not only was this an affordable option and we are happy with where our money went, but we received very professional, warm, and timely communication and assistance from Zoey from start to finish. Highly recommend hosting your wedding or event here!

I have worked at the Maxwell House a couple of times, specifically with Reid. He is always professional and clear about the house rules, fees and what exactly is included for an event or wedding. He will bend over backwards for you to try to fullfill your requests. On actual event days, there is an onsite venue coordinator overseeing the venue and is periodcically checking in with the event coordinator. In the times I have worked there, it's been pleasant and organized. There is a very detailed checklist leading up to your event to be sure all is covered and addressed. Highly recommended venue.

mpliments for the food during our wedding, and the staff took such great care of us during our wedding day. We both wish we could go back to the venue just to try food there again. Shauna, who we initially worked with when we signed on to work with the Fig House, was really great and worked with us so well. At first, the venue was out of our price range, but she worked to get it down to a price we were comfortable with. As we got closer to the big day, Shauna was subbed out for Kevin on the event staff. Our process took a little bit of a turn here as Kevin, while nice and easy to work with in our 1 on 1 interactions, was ultimately not the most helpful and caused as quite a bit of stress in the lead up to our big day. We were sent the wrong bill, told about some restrictions to the venue really late in the process, and were unacknowledged by him on the day of our rehearsal. We really recommend the Fig House to anyone looking for an intimate and unique space in LA, but can’t recommend working with Kevin. It’s also helpful to know that the venue has some limitations with timing, the use of outside vendors, and some hidden fees!

The Revery is both an indoor and outdoor space, updated with modern amenities including HVAC, no noise curfew, tons of natural light, and perfect for the modern couple who is looking for a hidden gem.

The Revery was everything we could've asked for in a venue and MORE. What initially drew us to the Revery was it being modern, yet still warm blank canvas. Compared to other blank canvas venues we saw in LA that were too industrial, too old, or just not our style, the Revery was the best base we could find. For our wedding, we used the upstairs indoor area for our ceremony and dinner, and used the outdoor area for our cocktail hour and mini-festival/dance floor. It was really cool to have the option to create 2 different kind of vibes and styles within the same venue and night. I highly recommend the Revery's bar service, where you can purchase your own alcohol and they provide the mixers service on the day of the wedding. You pretty much can't go wrong on any of The Revery's preferred vendors, we really liked working with everyone. For our wedding, we worked with Gigi from Sincerely Us Events for event coordination, Gray from Moon Jar Design for florals, Kapsule Co for photo & video, Chubby Fingers for catering, Stage labs for lighting, Dart Collective for our DJ, makeup from Beautifully Redeemed, Go Cakes for cake, and Wild House Ink for our lantern wall fabrication. We highly recommend them all! I honestly thought I'd be super stressed out on the day of the wedding, but I was CHILLIN. It is so nice to have vendors you trust, and be able to know that you're in good hands so you can just sit back and enjoy what you've put together. I also want to give a specific shoutout to the Revery owner, Monica, who was a joy to work with and was so accommodating, and answered our many questions very quickly. She did so many things big and small to make sure our wedding was setup for success, which we really appreciate since her experience and high attention to detail was pretty critical for us to plan our own wedding. It really felt like Monica wanted the best for us and our wedding. We'd love to host more events in the Revery some day, but til then, I highly recommend it for your event!
