Kimberly Mufferi Photography

5.0

Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,800
  • Offer

I've had a camera in my hand since I was a kid. My mom was a wedding photographer also. I spend my days taking photos because it inspires me and fills me with joy. To me, there is nothing better than capturing a beautiful moment. I have photographed weddings all over the US TX, NY and the Hudson Valley, the East Coast, as well as in Europe, the Caribbean, & Hawaii. A few more things about me… I love the ocean, traveling, exploring, hiking, dancing, the change of seasons, the outdoors, sunrises, sunsets, walking without a destination, that few minutes of magical golden light before the sun sets, life… and telling stories with photographs.

Kimberly Mufferi Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for our engagement photos. Kimberly's communication style was easy, comforting, and fun - she immediately put us at ease and made the whole process a joy. Her work is truly magical, capturing every moment with a thoughtful and heartfelt touch, and she's a whiz with natural light. Kimberly was on time and had amazing ideas that helped make it all even more memorable. As one of the most amazing photographers I've ever had the pleasure of working with, Kimberly is a magician with natural light, and the joy of her heart is contagious both in while working with her and in the photos she creates. Highly recommend!

Double Knot Pictures | Photo + Video

5.0

Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,970

Our small team of award-winning photographers and videographers celebrate the candid, authentic beauty of your day. Because when you look back on your album you should remember the fun, easy, imperfect, personal moments that make you, you -- not how long you had to pose.

We cannot recommend Double Knot enough for wedding wedding photography and videography. Shaun and Chris (videographers) and Dashun and Vic (photographers) went above and beyond for our VERY long wedding day. Our traditional Vietnamese-Filipino wedding was a 15-hour day that consisted of a traditional morning tea ceremony, Filipino religious ceremony, and a 400-person Vietnamese-style reception. The Double Knot team was extremely patient throughout the entire chaotic wedding day. They made the perfect music video to the song we chose and an amazing full-length documentary. The audio was excellent and quality as well. The photos were so well-edited, and so many beautiful moments were captured. Their turnaround time was also extremely fast! We will always be thankful for having Double Knot, and we’re sure any other couple will be, too!

Morgan Elise Photography

5.0

Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

My name is Morgan Elise, and I have had a camera in my hand since I was around nine years old. I specialize as a storyteller & documentarian photographer. Nothing brings me more joy than capturing moments you don’t necessarily see… but I do. I am constantly looking for those quiet moments, genuine smiles, laughs, hugs, kisses, etc. I want to tell YOUR story as authentically as I can. My work has heavily been influenced by my intuition and empathic gifts, history, vogue, literature- mostly Jane Austen, and poetry. Before every session, I create a story of poses for each client, carefully curated for each person’s personal story.

Morgan Elise Photography was a dream to work with for our wedding day. Their communication style was quick, friendly, and detailed, which put us at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of their work is truly amazing - their unique, artsy approach resulted in stunning photographs that captured the beauty and joy of our special day. Despite the rain, Morgan remained so positive and made our pictures look absolutely dreamy. She was also on time and super helpful in ensuring the day went smoothly. We have used Morgan for the last 3 years for many different types of shoots, and she always leaves us feeling so beautiful, comfortable, and laughing. You can tell she is a true artist who is so passionate about what she does, and we received so many amazing compliments on her work after the wedding. We couldn't be happier with our decision to have Morgan Elise Photography as our wedding photographer!

Diana and her team were fantastic!! My husband hates taking pictures and Diana made him feel extremely comfortable, made him laugh, and ultimately we were able to enjoy a moment that he was very stressed about initially. The photographs she took of our wedding, the ceremony, the reception, and all the small moments in between were perfect. She is able to capture authenticity and charm. She is a marvelous, professional and talented person and I would recommend her to anyone needing a photographer for a wedding or any other event or occasion.

Hi I'm Allie! I am a photographer and videographer based in Austin, TX. I have 17+ years experience in the wedding industry. Growing up, my Dad did wedding photography (on film!) and did that all throughout my childhood. Eventually, I got to tag along with him and he realized I had a natural eye for a good shot. Whenever I do weddings now, it always makes me nostalgic for the days I got to spend learning from him. Years later, he gifted me my first camera. Now, I have experience with weddings, short films, portraits, and more. If my work makes a connection with you, then I know I did my job.

Allie was our Wedding photographer and we can say that she was by far our best vendor. Allie is very professional and talented. My now husband and I are not photogenic and Allie was able to get us A LOT of beautiful photos. She listens to what you want and pays attention to every detail. She is very quick at delivering the final product and the quality is amazing. We highly recommend HicksGirlsProductions!

Sam Hugh Photography

5.0

Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,500

I’m a hopeless romantic that's in an international long-distance marriage for almost ten years. I really enjoy documenting weddings. It’s one giant Rubik's Cube of composing interesting images, telling family history, figuring out the optimal light, and just getting to know people. My passion is to keep pushing my art and create a timeless product you will still cherish 50 years from now. I want to create honest photos that capture the realness of your relationships. I want to do more than tell a story, I want to capture the feelings and emotions of the day. I want to capture your quirkiness, your happiness, and the quiet moments in between.

Sam took the time to get to know me and my fiancé and totally got our vibe. It was clear that he had studied my wedding photography Pinterest board, had seen and understood my vision for wedding photos that were more elevated and editorial than some of the more typical wedding photographs. We have gotten non-stop compliments on our wedding photos but more importantly, my fiancé and I LOVE them. They are the perfect representation of us. And now for businessy things: Sam was punctual, always on time (usually early!) for everything from initial calls to the actual day of. He was SO polite and patient when our relatives were being annoying and asking him to take a photo on their iPhones. (eye roll, sorry Sam!!!) He was great a corralling the crowd for group portraits and he was not intrusive at all during the ceremony. Honestly, I kind of forget he was even there. It's clear that he takes pride in his work and we felt really lucky to get to have him on our wedding. TLDR: Sam slayed this and I would recommend him to everyone

Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,000

For those playfully and deeply in love! Color and Beam provides artful film and digital hybrid wedding and elopement photography based in Southern California and Texas, available for travel. I’m a storyteller, but the picture book kind. I usually skip the words and pore over the pictures. I geek out over colors, light, and movement, so it makes a lot of sense that photography is where I’ve landed.

A husband & wife team who travel around the Texas hill country photographing all things love and exciting! We have three rescue cats & a parrot who truly do act like kids. (But we sure do love ‘em!) We enjoy watching movies, getting take out, and going goo-goo over the king of acting, Mr. Nick Cage! Yes, we’re those kinds of people. ;)

From our first meeting, the team at Photography By Estefana was amazing, personable, and incredibly responsive. Their communication throughout the entire process was top-notch, and they made us feel comfortable and at ease every step of the way. The quality of their work is simply gorgeous - the photos and videos are beautifully edited and they captured exactly what we wanted for our special day. They went above and beyond to get some amazing shots, including some specific images I had requested, and we're thrilled with the final results. Hi and welcome to Naomi Phelps Photography! I’m an Austin wedding photographer and storyteller. Blending your timeless moments with a creative touch, while making both you and your partner feel comfortable and confident is what I'm all about. If you’re looking for someone to photograph any special moment in your life I highly recommend Naomi. Not only did she capture our engagement, but we loved her so much that we flew her to our home state to take our wedding photos. She is such a delight to work with. She’s professional, punctual and really makes you feel at ease when in front of the camera. She is so amazing at capturing candid moments (which I love). She also gets pictures to you so quickly. Everyone at our wedding raved about how great she was and I love how organized the pictures were when we received them, it made it that much easier to look through and find specific pictures. If you want quality pictures that you’ll cherish forever I highly recommended Naomi and Sweet Memories Photography.

Chris Praetzel Photography

5.0

Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

Im Chris, a photographer living in Austin Texas. I think connection between people, whether they be strangers, best friends, or loved ones, is what this is all about. I think every moment can be captured in a beautiful way.

Awarded Best of Zola
Chris is easy-going and relaxing to work with right from the jump. His creative eye always found a way to incorporate our surroundings yet he always was able to capture a natural expression. We had a few different locations for our engagement shoot and in each location, he was able to find something unique, experimented with different framing, but was always able to keep us at ease in front of a camera. Overall he made the day really special and we left with a memorable set of images that we see every day on our walls! It was great working with him and I'll jump at any chance to do it again. Highly recommend!

Betsy Y. Photo

5.0

Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,333

My interest in photography sparked when I was young as I watched my dad photograph everything around him. I asked for my first camera when I was 8 years old, and from the first moment it was in my hands, I couldn't put it down. I photographed EVERYTHING from bugs to people to Beanie Babies, filling shoeboxes with negatives and little 3x5 prints. After coloring "backdrops" on notebook paper for each beanie babie and having a full-on photo shoot, I knew photography would be a part of my life forever. :P I photographed my first wedding in November, 2008: over 200 weddings, 7 countries, and 20 states later, and I am still loving every second.

Betsy is the most genuine human I know. She will share in your journey, not just show up for your wedding photos. She communicates clearly and often, especially if you’re out of state from her. She went above and beyond for our engagement photos and wedding weekend. The images and moments she captures don’t compare to other photographers and her style is so rich and emotional. We will use her for the rest of our lives and would travel to see her just to work together again!

Marisa Vasquez Photography

5.0

Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,400

I’m Marisa. A cheeseburger lovin' native Texan. A little lady who will capture wonderful moments for you (on my tip toes 90% of the time) and will smile at you a lot in hopes that it will make you smile too. :)

Marisa was the absolute best person we worked with for our wedding. She is professional, communicative, kind, friendly, organized, and prompt. From our initial message reaching out to her to our final pictures post-wedding and all of the in-between with engagement and bridal photos, she is without a doubt our favorite wedding vendor. She’s fun to work with during and outside of photos. During, she has a very calm demeanor of a true professional who’s seen it all and is unfazed by the chaos that is wrangling family for photos. She also made our engagement and bridal photo shoot super fun. Outside, she communicates quickly and kindly and was well organized. She was so organized that if she had told us she did wedding coordination, we would have paid her on the spot. I cannot say enough good things about her and I’m confident we’ve found our go-to photographer for as long as she’ll have us.

Jessica Joseph Photography

5.0

Austin, TX
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000

I'm a wedding and elopement photographer that loves to capture all the feelings you least expect - the laughs you don't anticipate and the tears (the good kind) you didn't see coming. I create imagery that doesn't just bring you back to a moment, but to an exact feeling. I'm here to document your story exactly as you live it.

We found Jessica through our venue’s Instagram and never looked back. She’s got an editorial eye and was perfect for our shared vision of our wedding photos. So much so that we ended up broadening our contract to include engagement photos and a separate ceremony from the big day. Jessica not only took beautiful photos on all three occasions, but really worked with us to ensure we were comfortable and getting the shots we really wanted. If you’re looking for a local photog, we couldn’t recommend her enough. And, if you’re able to fly her out for out-of-town projects, she’s just as flexible! Thank you Jessica!
