My name is Mary, a documentary wedding photographer based in Austin and Los Angeles. Wrenn is a family name: we are a line of artists, makers, and crafters. We are also a bunch of weirdo, crazy goofballs who love to be silly and have fun! I'm passionate for capturing the glorious beauty of your love story on film and digital mediums. While posed photos have their place at weddings, I'm all about those unscripted magical moments of human connection. It is not my job to create moments so that they look perfect in photos. Your experience is my top priority. With my primarily documentary approach, you'll enjoy your day without feeling the need to perform for photos and trusting that meaningful moments are being artistically captured. That said, there will always be times throughout any wedding where direction is needed. With 7+ years of experience with couples, I'll be sure you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. I shoot on digital and film. I love the natural, soft grain of film and how it reflects the messy, raw, beautiful nature of life. It gives wedding galleries even more of that timeless, nostalgic feel.

Stop searching for a photographer- you found the right one! Mary was so amazing to work with. She did our engagement shots as well as our “first” wedding (we had a Covid wedding). I was so happy with everything that she did. Mary is fun, creative and knows how to capture the spirit of the day. Her style is soft and romantic and she does not over-edit the final product. I really cannot say enough good things about her. You will not regret hiring Mary!
