The Gathering Spot Atlanta is housed in the North Yards business park. Once known as the Southern Railway North Avenue Yards, this site is now a historical railroad landmark. The Student Success Center boasts over 12,400 square feet of event space, ranging from boardrooms for 16 to suites for 240. The venue’s 32 sky boxes are also available for unique small meetings and events with fantastic views of Bobby Dodd Stadium and historic Grant Field – the oldest on-campus stadium in the NCAA.

1910. That’s when this studio was built. That’s more than 100 years ago. Before the Titanic. Before World War I. Of course, when they built it they didn’t know it was a studio. They thought they’d built a factory for transforming raw cotton into fire-retardant fabrics. And they did just that for about 84 years. Next came a few years of hand-wringing and a few more of neglect and abandonment. In 2007, they finally turned it over to Jason Ivany. He set it back on track and transformed it into the daylight studio it was always meant to be just before the 100 year mark.

The indoor space can seat up to 100 friends and family members for more intimate celebrations. Here, surrounded by beautiful artworks, installations, and timeless interiors, you can make lifelong memories from start to finish. Among the amenities at SCAD Ivy Hall are complimentary WiFi, get-ready rooms, a catering kitchen, parking, and wheelchair access. This unique location is also suitable for all pre-wedding parties, such as engagements, showers, and rehearsal dinners.

We are a private residential venue in the Chosewood Park neighborhood right in the heart of Atlanta near Grant Park. We offer couples an intimate, Al Fresco Poolside Wedding & Ceremony experience without leaving the city! Imagine a poolside ceremony and reception with soft lights, white-clothed tables and candle centerpieces and sophisticated indoor space with sliding glass doors that open directly to an outside covered patio overlooking the pool, allowing for the perfect indoor and outdoor experience for you and your guests. Our venue is a well-designed canvas that can be used as-is or customized for your style. Callanwolde has a legacy that stretches over a century; its beginnings taking place when the Candler family established their sprawling 27,000 square foot estate in the Druid Hills neighborhood of Atlanta. Highly skilled architects and craftsmen were employed to construct the magnificent property, making it one of the city’s most distinct venues. Despite its urban location, Callanwolde offers a sense of seclusion and tranquility, enhanced by the delightful beauty of its gardens. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, our versatile rooms can be configured to suit any need. The great hall with its grand staircase is the perfect backdrop for an elegant, indoor ceremony. For outdoor ceremonies, the lush greenery and colorful blooms of the gardens create a romantic atmosphere that you and your guests will never forget. No matter how you envision your special day, Callanwolde has the space, amenities, and attentive staff to make it a reality.

As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.
