Homewood, a special event venue in Asheville, NC, is an ideal destination for rehearsal dinners, weddings, receptions, and gatherings. Homewood is a beautifully restored 1920s stone manor located in Asheville's post-Victorian historic district of Montford. The elegant castle was originally built as a private home. The elegance of the 1920s luminesces from original wrought iron chandeliers and alabaster sconces, casting graceful lighting from the 20-foot ceilings of the Great Room to the original hardwood floors, cherry walls, and grand Appalachian stone fireplaces. Conveniently located within a mile of downtown Asheville, Homewood offers 200 free, designated parking spaces, and is located in a neighborhood setting. The Great Room seats 110 people for dinner, or up to 150 with cocktail seating, with space for dance floor and DJ or band. Homewood is fully handicap-accessible. The beautiful and lush surrounding grounds provide additional outdoor space, including our garden ceremony site.

The Tony & Helen Morris Hellenic Cultural Center (The MHCC) is a beautifully appointed Asheville Event Venue located within 5 minutes of downtown in the historic Montford District, with wide streets and a canopy of trees. We host private parties, wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners, as well as private parties for families, high school reunions and corporate functions. We are conveniently located in the beautiful Historic Montford District on Cumblerland Avenue, 5 minutes to the heart of downtown Asheville, just off I-240.

We are able to provide accommodation on-site in 2 luxury apartments; 4 rooms, 4 beds, 2 sofa-beds, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2 TVs, 2 mini-fridges, some amenities, high-speed wifi and a big free parking lot.
