About this venue

Lovingston Winery is a weekend wedding venue that prioritizes slowing down and enjoying time with those that you love. With all of our packages we include 2 nights at our historic 1906 farmhouse and charming log cabin. These spaces allow for up to 16 guests to stay on property with you throughout the weekend. In addition, there are sweeping views of mountains, vineyards, pastures, and pond that can be viewed from our ceremony sites. When it's time for dinner, you can take a beautiful stroll to our newly constructed Tupelo House. This reception space allows for you to take in the setting sun while enjoying the high end touches like chandeliers, open frame timber, and a massive 8' wide fireplace. There is so much to see that we encourage you to visit us for a tour.

The Tupelo House

A space for your reception

The Tupelo House is an elevated barn style space with modern flourishes. We created this space to provide protection from the elements, while still highlighting the property. Once in the Tupelo, you can take in the sunset through 32' wide barn doors to as you enjoy dinner. You will find soft gold lighting fixtures, exposed diagonal framing, and an 8' wide fireplace. This space alludes to our roots in farming while balancing a modern and chic feel, allowing you to take the space in any direction.

The Farmhouse

This historic 1906 serves as the heart of the property and bridal suite.

This lovingly restored farmhouse can sleep up to 10 guests. Upstairs, you will find 3 bedrooms. On the main floor, you will find the final bedroom that also serves as the bridal suite. The home has 2 king beds, 1 queen bed and 2 full beds. There are also 3 full bathrooms and vanities. The home also boasts a high end kitchen with 2 ovens and Viking stovetop. Surrounding the home, there are several outdoor areas perfect for your ceremony, cocktail hour, dining, and relaxing with friends.

The Cabin

Cozy, yet high end cabin with some of the best mountain and vineyard views on property.

This renovated cabin has room for up to 6 guests. This mountain escape has a primary suite with full bathroom and two additional bedrooms that share a full bath in the hall. The cabin has a beautiful kitchen and open concept living room to allow for a comfortable place to enjoy the weekend. The front porch has some of the best mountain views with incredible sunrises. The backyard has a large deck and charcoal grill. In the yard you will find a fire pit and plenty of room for yard games.

    Lovingston Winery has the most kind and compassionate Owners that truly want their Couples to have the best wedding day possible! They make you feel like you are a part of the family! From offering flexibility for the wedding vendors that you hire and the décor that you want to utilize for event design to providing the option of a property buy-out so you can truly enjoy a private wedding weekend with your friends and family. Pair all of this with stunning vineyard views and you have the perfect wedding venue!

    As a wedding photographer who has had the pleasure of working at many venues, I can confidently say that Lovingston Winery is a dream come true for any couple looking for the perfect wedding location. Nestled in the countryside of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Lovingston winery offers a breathtaking backdrop that feels like you've stepped straight into your own love film. The picturesque vineyards and the peeking mountain range provide the most stunning and magical setting. What truly sets Lovingston Winery apart is the incredible staff. As a wedding photographer myself, I have never worked with a more professional and kind-hearted team. They go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly and make you feel like you’ve known them your whole life. Their warmth and hospitality make the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. One of my favorite standout features of Lovingston Winery is the historic farm house, which is the perfect getting ready space. It's wonderfully well-lit, offering a comforting and serene environment that sets the tone for the day. Plus, their reception pavilion is absolutely beautiful and brimming with charm. It’s the perfect blend of rustic elegance, making it a delightful space for celebrating with loved ones. I cannot recommend Lovingston Winery enough for anyone looking to host their wedding at a venue that is as dreamy and picturesque as it is welcoming and accommodating.     Lovingston Winery is an absolutely beautiful and perfect venue for anyone having a wedding in the Virginia area. Tessa and Wes are the nicest people and are willing to do anything to make your day go absolutely smooth. Tessa was always very responsive and understanding to any questions/concerns. Tessa and her kindness was one of the biggest reasons we chose this venue. Of course, the views and the vineyards are beautiful and make for a perfect backdrop for a wedding. The venue has two places on property for the entire bridal party to stay on site for two nights! In all the venues we looked at this was the only one that offered this and it was so nice after rehearsal to hang around with the bridal party all in one space. This was one of our favorite features of Lovingston Winery. If you aren't certain on the vibe of the ceremony you want... there are multiple locations on the property that work for a ceremony site. As for the reception space... the new Tupelo House is absolutely stunning and perfect for hosting your reception. My wife and I cannot speak highly enough about this venue and Tessa is truly a remarkable person who truly cares about you and wants your wedding to go smoothly and how you envisioned it. If you are looking for a beautiful, unique, and perfect place to get married, we could not recommend Lovingston Winery enough. The wine is good, the people are good, and the views are amazing.
