Can we bring our own alcohol?

Alcoholic beverage sales and service are regulated by the State Liquor Control Board. The Hotel, as a licensee, is responsible for administration of these regulations. Therefore, it is a policy that no liquor or wine may be brought into the Hotel from outside sources. Dispensing of beverages on Hotel premises must be done by Hotel employees.

What’s included in your starting rental fee?

Accepted Answer

Set up, clean up, tables, chairs, china, flatware, and glassware. We also offer a choice of black or white linen.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable.

Do we need to get insurance?

If you are bringing outside vendors we do require insurance.

Do you offer parking?

Accepted Answer

As part of the wedding package, complimentary valet parking is available the evening of your wedding night for the Bride & Groom. Event Valet Parking is available for your guests at a reduced rate of $15.00. Parking charges may be added to the master account if desired. Prices as of August 2020 and subject to change.

Question 6

Service Charge and Sales Tax

Accepted Answer

A 24% taxable service charge and applicable state sales tax will be added to all food and beverage charges as well as any audiovisual equipment charges and function room set-up/rental fees. Tax and Service Charge amounts as of August 2020 and are subject to change.

Question 7

Do you offer menu tastings?

Accepted Answer

Once a contract is signed, we will be delighted to set a time for a menu tasting for 4people. Please consult your Catering Sales Manager for availability.

Question 8

Labor Fees or Custom Menus and Service

Accepted Answer

A $100.00 Labor charge will be added to Buffet Meals with guarantees of 25 people or fewer. For A La Carte we ask that you limit your entree selections to two entree choices plus a vegetarian to ensure proper service. The highest entree price will prevail. Guarantees for each entree are required in accordance with the above guarantee schedule.

Billing

Accepted Answer

We ask that proper credit information be established prior to the function. The Hotel reserves the right to request all or part of the bill prior to the function. Payment of the total balance due should be made upon receipt of invoice. The Hotel will retain the deposit due to cancellation if sufficient notice is not given.

Question 10

Can we use outside vendors?

Accepted Answer

Move In/Out Exhibit Companies, Florist, Decorators, and Entertainers must schedule their move-in/out times with the appropriate hotel event manager. All Move In/Out must occur through our Loading Dock Area. Florist and Decorators are responsible for removing all their items and trash promptly at the conclusion of the event.

Audio Visual

Accepted Answer

We will be happy to arrange for all audio-visual requirements for your function. Audio-visual engineers qualified lighting operators and extensive AV setups can be arranged through our Event Technology Department. Use of outside audio visual companies are subject to the hotel policies regarding 3rd party vendors and may result in additional fees for technician hours, power drops and sound patches

Property Damage

Client is responsible for any damage done to the property by clients guests, attendees, employees, independent contractors or other agents under the clients control.

Guaranteed Numbers

Accepted Answer

A final guaranteed attendance number for all F&B functions is required to be made 72 business hours prior to the function by 12:00pm. If we do not receive a number from you, your organization will be charged for the number of persons specified on the event order. We will be prepared to set 5% over the guaranteed number if needed. The guarantee is not subject to reduction after this 72hr deadline.

Question 14

Do you require a wedding planner?

We highly recommend that you have someone outside of the bridal party designated as wedding planner the day of the event.
