About this venue

In Italian, “osteria” means a place where the owner “hosts” guests. The restaurant offers dinner seven nights a week. The open kitchen allows for guests to watch the action of their meal preparation unfold. Corporate Executive Chef Bill Dorrler oversees the kitchen operations at Osteria Morini. The wine list was curated to include wines native to this part of Italy. Osteria Morini received two and a half stars from the Washington Post and two and a half stars from Washingtonian Magazine. Whether you are hosting a business function or a personal celebration, Osteria Morini, located in the Capitol Riverfront district, is the ideal place for your next event. We offer three, four and even five course menus, highlighting the flavors of the Emilia Romagna region. These menus are perfect to be served for the table, or with a selection per course for all guests. Osteria Morini offers one completely private room that can accommodate a maximum of 36 guests seated, or up to 45 guests for a reception style event. This fully enclosed private room comes equipped with a 60" plasma television, and exclusive iPod capabilities. Additionally, we can seat large parties of up to 16 guests on the main dining room floor, or reserve the entire restaurant for a full buyout of up to 110 guests comfortably seated or 200 for a full reception style event.
