About this venue

Hunter House & Gardens is a beautifully restored Colonial Revival farmhouse. Built in 1913, the home is listed on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Register of Historic Places. The farmhouse estate sits on over 2+ acres of land, with one acre dedicated for parking, offering gracious settings for all types of events from large to small weddings, corporate gatherings, and bridal showers. With plantings of more than 200 trees since purchasing the property in 2017, the owners are committed to preserving the last remaining 2+ acres of what was once a vast 3,200-acre homesite/farmland. The gardens paint a magical setting located in and around the farmhouse estate. The garden offers the perfect place to hold a wedding or gathering in our 3,200 sq foot tent with a seating capacity of 300; tent sides and dance floor are also available.

Hunter House & Gardens, Circa 1913, is a beautifully restored farmhouse estate listed on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Register of Historic Places.

The estate sits on over 2+ acres, with one dedicated for parking, offering gracious settings for weddings, rehearsal dinners and bridal showers. The garden tent offers the perfect place to hold a rehearsal dinner, wedding, or gathering. The tent is 3,200 sq foot with a seating capacity of 300, Tent sides and dance floor are also available.

Room cost

Rehearsal Dinners: 4-6 hour rental $1,500 to $2,000 plus food $25 - $40 pp. 8-hour rental, including setup and breakdown time. Monday-Thursday - 3K Friday & Sunday - 5K Saturday - 6K
