YU & US Events
We're a happily married couple that's been through the same process you're about to enter into, and we're seeking to help others capture their most special day—without fussing over the details. We fell in love in 2012 and haven’t looked back since. Together we bring you 20+ years of experience in having and creating fun, and YU & US was created as an embodiment of our partnership today. Jane’s love for personalized, bespoke weddings and events, coupled with Jon’s passion for finding and blasting the best tunes, is the winning combination any client would want for their special occasion.
We have planned and DJed many clients’ weddings and events, but it wasn’t after we planned our own wedding in November 2018 that we understood the true stressful reality of planning. Because of this and because we own this business together, we empathize with the strain wedding planning sometimes puts on engaged couples. We know how much of a pain it can be to plan for your special day—and how much joy you can experience by doing it right. Why not let us help you bring your dreams to life?

| Description | Destination weddings are special - we see it as a moment for all of your close friends and family to essentially take a vacation and have a great experience together. There's a lot of planning involved not for the day, but typically for a weekend at minimum. | Our starting fee for full-service planning is $9,850. If your budget exceeds $98,500, our fee will increase to 12% of the total budget. | This package is consultation + month-of planning - it is designed for clients who want to be very hands-on with their wedding planning but want close guidance from an expert along the way. It is the most customizable out of our packages for a couple’s planning needs. We can assist with a few of the selected services, depending which tier you choose. | Month-of Coordination - we start the process 2-3 months before the wedding day and start taking over all communication with the venue and vendors. |

PHENOMENAL
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Yu and Us for our large wedding in October 2024, and my husband and I cannot recommend them highly enough! Jane was nothing short of phenomenal. We chose to skip many traditional elements in favor of unique, personal touches, and Jane seamlessly brought our vision to life. Her ability to make crucial executive decisions without needing constant input from us was a lifesaver, yet she consistently checked in to ensure we were thrilled with every detail. She truly made us feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the entire process. One moment that stood out was when Jane had to pay one of our vendors—our late-night taco truck— last minute with her tip because, in the whirlwind of the day, we forgot that one final payment! Of course, we reimbursed her immediately, but this could have been a disaster, frankly, without Jane’s professionalism and grace about our slip-up. Jane and Jon strike the perfect balance between being cool, laid-back, and impeccably professional. They’re the kind of planners you genuinely enjoy having around all day, which in my opinion, is such a crucial quality when shopping for a planner. In hindsight, our wedding was amazing, and we loved every minute of it. The only thing I’d change? I wish I had signed up for their full wedding planning service. DIY’ing our wedding was fun but it ended up causing unnecessary stress the week before. However, if you’re on a budget, the Month of Planning Service is just fine too, and that was the one we picked. Yu and Us is the dream team you want by your side. They deserve every one of those five stars. Thank you thank you thank you, Jane and Jon! You made our wedding unforgettable.
Simply The Best
We couldn't have been more grateful than for Jane and Jon. They helped bring our wedding dreams come true! Jane was integral to planning our wedding! Her professionalism, attention to detail, and flexibility made our wedding into a literal dream come true. Working across different time zones, Jane was the consummate professional. Prompt and always available, she helped us navigate our wedding planning process from beginning to end. Whether researching vendors, honing our design vision, or navigating tricky last-minute requests, she helped create a truly special, personal event. Jon was an incredible DJ who helped make our reception into an epic dance party! His music knowledge and excellent taste created the perfect atmosphere for our guests. We especially loved his idea for a couple's last dance, which helped close out the night to a very special day. We could not be more impressed with Yu & Us Events. Thank you Jane and Jon!
Dream Wedding with Yu & Us
Yu & Us were wonderful to work with for our wedding day! I started working with them a few months before our wedding and they led us across the finish line. Jane managed all vendor comms, scheduling, and event execution. She was available to answer any questions we had and provided us with the best recommendations. I felt super confident with her leading all the elements for the wedding. On the day of our wedding, her team over-delivered on expectations. From running back to the hotel to get my husband's speech to grabbing me snacks when I didn't eat, Yu and Us were miracle workers! No task was too small and they executed everything flawlessly. They take care of everything so you can enjoy one of the most special days of your life. I cannot imagine our wedding without Jane, Jon, and Jenny. They are great people and made the planning process less stressful. Don't think, just work with Yu and Us for your event!
All that we could have hoped for
As the title of the review suggests, Jane and Jon were all that my wife and I could have hoped for in wedding planners/coordinators. They were not only professional but also personable. They took initiative to get the ball rolling while keeping us in the loop. They strike the balance of being helpful and active perfectly in a way that does not feel judgmental or invasive. I would recommend them to all I come across. It’d be difficult to find anyone better than them!
