Ricki brings a myriad of experience to the table including training and certification from the prestigious “Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants,” graphic and fashion design, top-notch organizational planning skills, extensive world traveling AND development of the one-of-a-kind Planning Genie® App – available only for Special Event Genie clients. Ricki is highly creative in her planning and on-the-spot problem solving… and brings all these skills together to create a unique, wonderful event just for you, your family and friends.

We cannot recommend Ricki Lewis Events enough! Ricki planned our wedding at Hummingbird Ranch, and the entire experience was so great. From the very beginning, Ricki’s communication was exceptional. She was always available to answer our questions, provide updates, and ease our concerns. Her creative ideas brought our vision to life. The attention to detail, from the floral arrangements to the layout of the space, was elegant. Special Event Genie was a pleasure to work with as the wedding planner for our couples special day. They kept us in the loop every step of the way with their exceptional communication style. As a very detail-oriented team, they ensured all of our couples expectations were met and seamlessly coordinated with all of the vendors kept informed of the timeline and requirements. As a caterer and beverage service provider, we appreciated their collaborative approach, providing us with the detailed timeline well in advance to ensure we had everything we needed to execute our services flawlessly. On the day of the event, Ricki provided us with timely cues for setting up, starting cocktail service, dinner, coffee and dessert. No, we do not. Our experience tells us that our undivided attention is 100% with you and your needs! Chances are that we will be conducting your rehearsal the day before and possibly planning other events for you that take place during your weekend.

Yes, we do! For Full Planning, your rehearsal dinner, post wedding brunch and bridal shower is included within that Services Package. These events can also be planned a la carte for Partial Planning and Wedding Day Management.

Special Event Genie is inclusive and celebrates all love stories. ALL love is welcome here, and our goal is always to make our couples feel loved, comfortable, and like a priority no matter what race, sexuality, gender, ethnicity, religion or tradition, etc.

As your Wedding Planner, we anticipate and resolve any unexpected issues, ensuring a seamless event. We're vigilant about logistics, ready with backup plans as needed. With detailed plans and a trusted team, we stay ahead of the timeline, allowing you to enjoy your day stress-free. Our calmness stems from prepared assistants, vendor communication, and your trust in our decision making. Having a 90-Day Manager ensures all details are covered. Trust in us means peace of mind for you and your vendors, ensuring a flawless execution of your vision.

Usually 10-14 months, but we have planned some more than two years, and as short as 90 days. We are up for anything! We do not change pricing based on length of planning period.

Absolutely! We love meeting new people. However, a huge advantage to having a planner is access to their tried-and-true vendors. As well as we give you insiders' prices due to our long-standing memberships within the professional wedding associations.

We are certified wedding planners accredited from two wedding professional associations, licensed, have liability insurance up to two million dollars and have workman's compensation insurance as well. We have been planning weddings professionally for twenty years!
