Owner and Wedding Coordinator

I got married in August 2021 and it was hard work! There’s a lot that goes into planning your most perfect day and you’re stressed that it won’t all work out as planned. I get it because I’ve been there. Worried because I didn’t hire a professional to set up and run my day. My family and friends were out there instead, and they missed important moments with me. This is when I realized that I can totally help with this! You did a lot of planning to make your wedding day exactly how you envision. I am here to make sure that vision comes to life without your family and friends having to miss out on those special wedding day moments.

While my background is in psychology and this may not seem like the right degree for working in the wedding industry, it’s actually super beneficial! It has taught me tons of people and organizational skills like how to effectively listen, communicate, empathize, problem solve, plan, and be flexible and adaptable to meet everyone’s needs. It really is an asset along with my natural tendencies to run the show and make things happen! I currently work as a School Psychologist and am passionate about the work I do within the educational field AND wedding industry!

Description

Prior to wedding: Unlimited communication and consultation, timeline creation, vendor recommendations and communication, and one hour of travel. Wedding day: up to 10 hours of service includes timeline management, decor and dessert set up, directing vendors, problem solving, greeting and directing guests, directing ceremony and reception entrances, communicating with DJ for proper timing of events, and so much more!

    Absolutely the BEST day ever thanks to Alyssa!! After many changes getting thrown at us a month out, Alyssa and I worked closely to make sure everything went as planned. Then the day of, I cannot say more than enough good things!!! Set up was so smooth and not once was I involved in set up (which is what I wanted). Alyssa also helped to break down. Basically from the moment we booked Alyssa, she went above and beyond to make our day perfect!! Your Day with A? Should be “Your PERFECT Day with A” how did I forget to mention how much fun she is!!!! Straight up boss babe!!!! Can we get married again to have this interaction again?!

    I cannot recommend Alyssa enough! We had a backyard wedding and I knew that I wanted a Day of Coordinator so that my family and friends could enjoy themselves instead of having to help me set things up and make sure things ran smoothly throughout the day. Alyssa had a phone call with me to help understand my vision. She was so organized in her documentation, which helped me stay organized. Shortly before the wedding we had another call to finalize everything. When our big day arrived, she was phenomenal! Everything went perfectly, and if it didn't, I didn't know about it. :) Alyssa ensured that all of the things got done that we talked about. Although she was willing to help with so many things, she did a fantastic job bringing our decor and vision to life. Checking in on us throughout the day was also an added bonus. We are forever grateful that we hired Alyssa as our Day of Coordinator for our October 2024 wedding
