With over a decade of experience in event planning and hospitality management, The Southern Planner has an exemplary track record of ensuring her brides’ wedding dreams come true. We are grateful to be able to serve brides all over the Southeast, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve you!
With extensive experience in event coordination and Catering Sales Management at both Marriott and Hilton Hotels & Resorts, we understand the intricacies of seamless event planning. Our diverse background also includes independently organizing and planning various weddings and events, showcasing our dedication and skills.

As a wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of working with Shelby from The Southern Planner for a recent wedding, and it was an absolute joy! Shelby’s professionalism and attention to detail were apparent from the very beginning. Weeks leading up to the wedding, we had multiple calls to ensure our timelines aligned perfectly and to make sure everything was the best fit for the bride and groom. On the day of the event, we faced unexpected rain, but Shelby handled the change of venue with such grace and efficiency. We were able to collaborate seamlessly, bouncing ideas off one another to ensure the day went off without a hitch. Thanks to her calm demeanor and organization, the entire wedding day flowed smoothly, and the couple was thrilled with the outcome.
