Hi! I'm Tavi (pronounced Teh-Vee). Hun Events is a boutique wedding planning & event design company with a focus on the sweet details of intimate gatherings. I specialize in weddings that range from 30-100 guests, but also work with larger events and am always open to unique venues and experiences! I plan weddings in Los Angeles, Central Coast, and Orange/Ventura/San Diego Counties.

I care about my clients and I care about design! My favorite style is vibrant, colorful, and cheeky and I love meeting couples who also truly love to focus on their event aesthetics and personalized details! I will always listen to my couples' love stories with an ear to the ground about what is sentimental to them so that we can incorporate thoughtful details throughout their wedding day to honor those traditions. My couples will get priority attention from me and will feel taken care of whenever they have questions or concerns. I'm the sole planner of my business and my #1 goal is to ensure that you feel taken care of and collaborated with.

Full Service Planning can include venue search, and guarantees vendor outreach and booking help, budget tracking, full design services, RSVP and website tracking, and more! It covers all the nuts and bolts of the planning process, beginning when we first sign a contract together!

Wedding Management begins 60 days out from your wedding date and covers all vendor communication about final details and logistics after you have hired all of your vendors. It also includes access to an exclusive Wedding Planning software that is customized to your needs throughout your own planning journey!

    Hiring Tavi was easily the best thing we could have done for ourselves when we started wedding planning. We really had no idea what we were doing, I was super anxious about everything, and Tavi guided us through it all with grace, expertise, and humor. She helped us figure out what we actually wanted our wedding to look like (a rainbow fruit and vegetable disco party), what was important to us, our budget, our vendors, and most importantly, she kept me from losing my mind (which, let's be honest, is probably the biggest reason you hire a wedding planner, right?). She put together an amazing vendor team that brought our vision to life even more than we could have hoped for. After the wedding, we got so many compliments about how great it was, and how it was the best wedding they'd been to, no exaggeration. You can see it in our photos--everyone had a blast, and we loved every second of it. Our parents were so impressed by how Tavi and her assistant handled everything on the day of--and she'd also had a wedding the day before, so that's saying something. She was always on her A-game, always responsive, and we would hire her again in a heartbeat. And you should hire her too!

    We had Tavi as our month of coordinator and she helped with our rental order. She was super responsive to all our emails and always willing to help us with any decisions! I felt completely comfortable knowing that Tavi had everything under control. She was proactive with vendors and made sure we were always updated on any changes or issues with vendors. Day of the wedding flowed SEAMLESSLY. Several guest commented about how the night flowed really well from a guest prospective and it was one of the best weddings they had been to. The day was perfect and I felt like a guest instead of a host because of Tavi and her amazing team handling everything effortlessly! I can't say enough kind things about Tavi!

    We had the absolute pleasure of working with Tavi and her team at Hun Events. We opted for the "Wedding Management" package. Tavi officially started working with us about 60 days before our big event, taking over all vendor communications and handling every logistical detail with our venue. Anytime there was an issue, Tavi was on top of it. She didn’t just manage logistics – she advocated for us every step of the way, ensuring our vision was honored. She was such a helpful and necessary resource to aid keep us organized and troubleshooting any last-minute changes. On the day of the wedding, Tavi and her team were incredible. They worked tirelessly behind the scenes, managing every moving part so seamlessly that we didn’t have to lift a finger. We didn’t even know about half of those "classic wedding hiccups" that occurred because she handled any issue that arose with such calm and efficiency – always with a smile on her face. Throughout the entire process, Tavi was not only organized and professional but also incredibly patient, kind, and supportive. If you're looking for someone who will go above and beyond to bring your wedding vision to life and ensure everything runs smoothly, we cannot recommend Tavi and Hun Events enough. She made our wedding day perfect!

    We worked with Tavi on a bit of a unique wedding celebration. She is a class act! Extremely professional, super sharp, knowledgable fun to work with and made an super stressful event seem like a breeze.
