Hi! I'm Tavi (pronounced Teh-Vee). Hun Events is a boutique wedding planning & event design company with a focus on the sweet details of intimate gatherings. I specialize in weddings that range from 30-100 guests, but also work with larger events and am always open to unique venues and experiences! I plan weddings in Los Angeles, Central Coast, and Orange/Ventura/San Diego Counties.

I care about my clients and I care about design! My favorite style is vibrant, colorful, and cheeky and I love meeting couples who also truly love to focus on their event aesthetics and personalized details! I will always listen to my couples' love stories with an ear to the ground about what is sentimental to them so that we can incorporate thoughtful details throughout their wedding day to honor those traditions. My couples will get priority attention from me and will feel taken care of whenever they have questions or concerns. I'm the sole planner of my business and my #1 goal is to ensure that you feel taken care of and collaborated with.

Full Service Planning can include venue search, and guarantees vendor outreach and booking help, budget tracking, full design services, RSVP and website tracking, and more! It covers all the nuts and bolts of the planning process, beginning when we first sign a contract together!

Wedding Management begins 60 days out from your wedding date and covers all vendor communication about final details and logistics after you have hired all of your vendors. It also includes access to an exclusive Wedding Planning software that is customized to your needs throughout your own planning journey!

    We worked with Tavi on a bit of a unique wedding celebration. She is a class act! Extremely professional, super sharp, knowledgable fun to work with and made an super stressful event seem like a breeze. She was so easy to work with - it was like working with a long-time friend and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for event support.     Tavi was truly the most incredible wedding coordinator we could have asked for. From the very beginning she was pointing out things that I had not even thought of and coming up with creative solutions to any concerns that we had. She was very responsive and gave the most helpful advice as we were navigating the wedding planning process. She had the best attitude in dealing with us and our vendors. I am not one to easily give up control, but Tavi immediately made me feel confident in trusting that she had our backs. The day of our wedding we did not have to worry about anything and truly had the best time. At the end of our event we had people come up to us and tell us how incredible Tavi was, which is just a testament to her professionalism and personality. If I could do it all again, I would not change a thing!

    We love Tavi! Her personality, charm, expertise, sensibilities: all were necessary to our wedding day! We had Tavi coordinating for two months leading up to our wedding, but she supported us from the beginning (above and beyond what was laid out). From the very first meeting, we felt more at ease. She provided access to an online wedding planning tool that became invaluable throughout the process, and she had solid recommendations for other vendors (many of whom we hired and loved). We also hired Tavi to help with our wedding design, and she tied our ideas together beautifully. Tavi’s wedding expertise was so critical to our big day, and it wouldn’t have turned out so AMAZING without her help. All the stress and anxiety we felt in that week was smoothed out by her calm and professional handling of everything. We were able to enjoy our wedding day fully–all we had to do was show up! We truly feel she was not just a coordinator, but a part of our wedding, and a new friend!

    My fiance and I were connected with Tavi through a recommendation from the Capri Hotel in Ojai, where we knew we wanted to have our wedding. We planned the whole thing for 100 people in just under 6 months because of a mid-wedding-planning pregnancy surprise :) Tavi was SO incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, she was the perfect balance of calm and professional and friendly, which was just what we were looking for during what could have been a very hectic time. She completely understood our balance of traditional/nontraditional, and she was always so communicative and available any time we needed her. If you want someone to truly help you execute your wedding vision, not interject with too many opinions, but still provide helpful and relevant advice, Tavi is your person. She communicated with all our vendors, which was the most important element to me, and she worked tirelessly the day of the wedding to keep everything running smoothly. She even managed to help us will away the cold, windy rain on our wedding day for a perfect 3-hour sunny window to have our ceremony and outdoor dinner ;) (Okay, that last part may have been out of her control, but she kept us cool and calm and it all worked out, so I'm going to give it to her anyway!)
