Hi, my name is Ian! At Urquhart Weddings, I create cinematic wedding films capturing the organic nature of a wedding day. From heartfelt moments to the little details you might not remember happening, my goal is to create a film that lets you relive the love, joy, and connection shared with your family and friends. I focus on showcasing the bond between two people in love, surrounded by their closest loved ones. Flexible and dedicated, I roll with the punches to ensure your experience is stress-free and your film exceeds expectations. Please enjoy the work I have linked to my account as examples!

What sets me apart as a wedding videographer is my unique blend of experience. With over 5 years as a touring photographer and videographer for internationally traveling artists and bands, I bring a creative, adaptive approach to filming wedding days. My background in Meteorology and love for weather (B.S., Plymouth State University 2015) fuels my appreciation for a good sunset shot (Sun Dogs are the best). Supported by a team who shares my vision, we work seamlessly to create impactful wedding films. Most importantly, a couple's happiness and satisfaction is my top priority. Egos always take a back seat.

This package includes a 10-15 minute Cinematic Wedding Film, a nostalgic flip-up handy-cam for a vintage vibe, and a documentary-style aesthetic to preserve your day in full.

    Ian videoed our fall 2024 lakeside wedding in NH and we were very impressed with the experience working with him! Ian’s day-of communication was great & he showed up enthusiastic to film. Throughout the day, I could tell how much attention Ian was paying to the details and unique look our lakeside venue provided. After our ceremony, he captured guests at our cocktail party and made it back for our wedding party photos. I love seeing all of the happy, laughing faces while we were taking photos! Throughout the reception he always knew where to find the best vibes with his camera! Post-wedding, we’ve been thrilled with his editing and love our highlight reel!

    Urquhart Weddings was a phenomenal choice for our wedding videographer. From the beginning, Ian's communication style was quick, collaborative, and direct - he was very responsive to our questions and worked closely with us to ensure he captured our day exactly as we envisioned. The quality of his work is simply outstanding, with a detailed, innovative, and engaging final product. On the day of our wedding, Ian was so professional and prepared, seamlessly working with our photographer to create a fun and comfortable environment. We were worried about feeling overwhelmed by having a camera in our faces all day, but Ian was always at the right place at the right time - we hardly even noticed he was there at times, which allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. The final video truly captures the magic of our wedding day, and we are still rewatching it over and over again. With the addition of drone shots and moving gimbal angles, Ian manages to make his videos accurate and engaging, as if you were there in person! We are also so grateful to have had Ian photograph our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks the night before our wedding, where he captured so many beautiful candid pictures of our friends and family enjoying the evening. We are very happy with the final product and the entire process working with Urquhart Weddings and highly recommend them to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding videography experience.

    Urquhart Weddings was absolutely incredible to work with for our wedding video.     We can’t recommend Ian enough for your wedding day footage. He captured so many beautiful moments from our big day and edited them into a video that we love so much, and are so happy we get to watch all the time and live this day again. He was so friendly and just so easy to work with, he made us feel so comfortable. We truly could not have asked for a better videographer for our big day!
