As a Memphis, TN Wedding photographer, I have been calling the Grind City my home for the past 10 years. I love the city, the lifestyle, and even the incredibly stupid traffic (although that won't keep the road rage down). I came here for my BFA in Photography and stayed for the Grind City life. My work focuses on the actions we take to show our care and love for each other. I cherish all types of human connection, and believe that our most precious memories deserve to be preserved in a way that is personable and true to us.

If there's one thing I want to be able to do for you, it's to get you back in the moment of your wedding day. Annnnd secretly compose a killer photo while you're there. No matter the type of wedding you’re planning, it should be documented in a way that is intimate, beautiful, and true to the your story. That means more than just the decorations, but all the giddy laughter and ugly cries in between. I try to spend personal time on the front end to get to know each of my couples. Hiring Michelle was the best decision ever! She was wonderful! There was clear and consistent communication from the beginning, and she went out of her way to always send us a heads up close to important dates. Neither of us had any experience with professional photography before this, and she made my husband and me feel right at home immediately. I also can’t stress how helpful she was on the wedding day, and how she managed to herd all of us cats with ease right on time with the schedule. And then there’s the photos. They are spectacular, vibrant and beautiful. Working with Michelle was like working with a close friend, she took the time to really get to know us and it shines through in every picture she took. We got back from our honeymoon and I had an email about our first look photos, they blew me away. I’m so excited to see the rest, and a little sad it’s all over! Michelle is an absolute joy to work with, I will definitely be reaching out to her again for any future photography needs.

BOOK MICHELLE NOW! I met Michelle’s team at a bridal open house and entered to win a free engagement photo shoot. I never win anything, but thought what the heck, let’s give this a try. Boy did I win BIG! Michelle and I immediately connected and she was such a breath of fresh air. She was extremely reassuring throughout our entire process. My fiancé and I loved our engagement photos so much that we booked immediately booked for our wedding day. Michelle is prompt, professional, punctual, and the best p of all PERFECT! Bridal Advice: Book Michelle before booking anything else because if she’s not available—pick a different wedding day! Seriously, I can’t say enough good things about her team.

Michelle is one of a kind! I reached out to her for my engagement photos because I was drawn to her work. Little did I know, I would be meeting someone who is so personable and genuine! From start to finish, she was so easy to talk to and accommodating. We had to postpone our wedding by 1 year and she didn't even bat an eye at it. On our wedding day, she made everything feel so easy and stress free - even when we were falling a little behind schedule. She ensured that we were all comfortable and I truly appreciated that! Michelle photographed our engagement and wedding and she was the best vendor we had that day. They are easy to work with, quick to communicate, and did such a great job managing the craziness of everyone at the wedding from large, separated family photos to getting everyone lined up for the exit. All of our photos turned out amazing and she did such an amazing job at capturing everything I wanted that day in such a beautiful way.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-8 weeks after your wedding. For engagement sessions, it's usually 4-6 weeks.

Of course! All final images will be gently retouched for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful and match. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.

You can expect about 75 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

In my 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted associate. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

Typically, couples book me about 12-18 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Almost always! I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. We love an extra set of hands to keep the party going. ;)

I LOVE this question. YES! We travel AND we create a custom package for you. In my experience, my couples have hired me over the resort photographer(s) because they'll get someone who's personal, knows their story, and ready to help keep the party going for them. We do custom collections for Destination weddings. The travel fees are usually in your collection for you. :)
