Hi there! I’m Lindsey “Lensy” Michelle (she/her) – a New York City and Boston based wedding and elopement photographer specializing in non-traditional celebrations. My style is a mix of candid and directed coverage that seeks to amplify and celebrate what makes each couple unique.
I put in the time to get to know you and your partner so that I can align my coverage with what matters to you. Lensy Michelle Photography is not a "studio of photographers." I am one photographer who thinks that working closely with each of my couples matters in your overall wedding experience.

Lindsey Jullian Dream Team!
Where do I even begin?! Lindsey came highly recommended from a friend in the industry and honestly was such a support from the start of wedding planning. She provided vendor recommendations, talked through various ideas, and was so excited to help our vision come to life. Also, Lindsey provides so many helpful organizational tools that really helped us feel more prepared for the wedding day. On the day of, Lindsey and Jullian made everything feel effortless and went above and beyond. Family photos went so quickly because they were so organized and they made sure to get photos of all the details we were so proud of. When people talk about our wedding, one of the first things they mention is the photographers. The groomsmen will regularly talk about how Jullian saved the day with wardrobe mishaps; he also saved me from my wardrobe issues too! When my bridal jewelry was overwhelmingly tangled, all it took was handing the necklace to Jullian and it was taken care of. Once we all started dancing, Lindsey was on the dance floor, dancing with us and jumping up in the air to catch the perfect action shots. Honestly, having Lindsey and Jullian at the wedding felt like having two guests that also happened to be wedding planners, photographers, and the life of the party all rolled into one. I had more than a few guests at the end asking how I found such a cool duo and honestly I think it’s all pure luck.
The queer photog your friends wished they booked
They and their team were fantastic, worked well with our other vendors (like the videographer), was communicative and supportive of our wedding vision and was able to be responsive and work on the fly when, inevitably, the schedule was messed up and we had to rearrange some things. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone looked good for the pics, even helped one of my wedding party members with their makeup, and was attentive and kind to the older members of our family as well when they took a bit longer or needed more direction. We were a very gender diverse and queer wedding and they were totally down and affirming from start to finish. They were locked in without being overbearing and were professional yet warm and friendly the whole time. And we have beautiful photos we’ve hung up, shared around, and I still use a cropped photo from our engagement shoot as a headshot. Also, their fit was fire and between that and their whole vibe, friends were asking us all night “who is your photographer and how did you find them?”
Worth Flying 650 Miles
Yes, the pictures were beautiful. They perfectly captured everything I asked for, I look at them ALL the time, and that’s important. But what sets her above the rest was how easy and fun she was to work with!! We planned a destination micro wedding in a city we had only been to once, which should have been so stressful but she made sure everything was thought of and planned out for us without even an ounce of worry. I cannot speak highly enough of her and her services, she MADE my wedding what it was. Worth every. Single. Penny.

From our very first interaction, their communication style was easy, kind, and excited - they clearly cared about capturing our day in a meaningful way. The quality of their work is truly thoughtful, with a storytelling approach that made our photos feel so special. Lindsey was so attentive to every moment of our special day, reading the room and people perfectly to know when to break from formal posing and capture those candid, love-filled shots we'll cherish forever. Lindsey truly cares about the story of the couple and the story her photos tell, with an eye for the big picture that shines through in each and every photograph. We could not have captured our wedding so perfectly without the Lensy Michelle team.
