This is your permission slip to be unapologetically yourself on your day. Let the deep belly laughs, worst dance moves, and shameless joy be out on display. You deserve someone who is just as emotionally invested in your day as you are (or, you know, as close as someone else could get). My approach is kind of a hybrid. I believe a wedding day has times where documentary, classic, and editorial styles might be necessary. For example, I don't really like static look-right-at-the-camera poses, but they have their place and I understand the importance of them. I also think it's important to let some moments unfold organically to really capture the true essence of it. But, I also won't be afraid to fix your dress in the middle of the ceremony if it's not fluffed. Overall, I think it's important to know when to step in, but most importantly when to step back. I also use movement based poses whenever I can to encourage real emotion
