What started as a method of documentation of my own life transformed into a love of capturing special moments for others. I specialize in portraits, pairs, weddings, and film. I am based out of Colorado Springs and primarily service Colorado and Chicago markets, though I'm always up for a new adventure! I love to travel for photography and take on new creative challenges.

I love to focus in on those special moments and details you spent so much time planing working on. I specialize in film in addition to digital photos, which has the ability add authenticity and presentness to the moment. I focus on the candid moments, and ensure that your photos are true to you.

    We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. Kirst not only captured our wedding day but also documented three additional days of our big fat Indian wedding. She consistently went above and beyond throughout the entire process. Kirst’s communication was clear and prompt—she made sure to understand every detail of our timeline, the moments that mattered most to us, and who we are as a couple, all to perfectly showcase the love and emotion of each moment. During the events, Kirst expertly helped us set up our desired posed shots. With her artistic eye, she guided us to stunning, natural compositions that highlighted our outfits, the environment, and our emotions. Some of our favorite shots ended up being the candid ones she captured. Looking through the photos, it feels as though Kirst perfectly saw the day through our eyes. Not only is Kirst incredibly talented and professional, but she is also sweet and a true joy to have around. Beyond delivering stunning photos, she became a meaningful part of our wedding celebrations, bringing even more joy to our special days.

    She made everything super simple for my husband and I. The way our day was captured was absolutely amazing and we will always have them to look back on. I would recommend her for anyone getting married, I couldnt imagine anyone else being our photographer. Truly an amazing person.
