With my documentary style approach, I focus on creating a visual narrative that reflects the unique spirit of each couple. Each love story is a unique celebration of authenticity and connection that deserves to be captured on camera. Love is diverse and I pride myself on creating a welcoming space for couples of all backgrounds, cultures and orientations. The best photographer I could dream of
Khariza exceeded my expectations as our wedding photographer from start to finish. I appreciate that she conducted a zoom meeting so that we could get a feel for each others’ personalities and get to know each other a bit prior to booking. When choosing a photographer for our wedding I wanted to prioritize choosing someone who I would enjoy being around on our special day. Khariza is so sweet, professional and easy going. She really made us feel comfortable and at ease while photographing our wedding. She checked in with us frequently to ensure we were getting the shots we wanted. She also made sure to talk with me prior to the wedding to make sure we had a schedule in place and I was able to share my specific thoughts and visions with her. I’ve only seen the sneak peak photos from our wedding so far but I am truly obsessed! Khariza’s work speaks for itself I cannot wait to see the rest of our gallery as I am sure she captured the essence of our special day and that means the world to us. Whenever we look at our photos we will surely be reminded of one of the best days of our lives. I hope we can work together again in the future.

Khariza is seriously awesome! She is a warm and consummate professional who captured beautiful photos of our intimate wedding celebration. Leading up, I appreciated her good communication, organization, and helpful photo planning. And on the day, she had a nice rhythm for capturing moments in the flow of the day. She also gave super good (and chill) direction for flattering posed photos (we had no idea what to do), and she made nice suggestions for different shots in the moment. We super enjoyed working with her, and everyone kept asking how we found a photographer with such good energy! Thank you!
Wedding photos came out even better than expected!
My husband and I contracted Khariza Rae Photography for 8 hours of wedding photography and a complimentary 1 hour engagement photoshoot. Since neither my husband nor I are very comfortable or experienced being in front of the camera we decided to do the engagement photoshoot first, as a trial run of what to do for the wedding. Khariza did a great job walking us through the poses. She kept the energy light and fun. We took photos at several locations during the hour. She also took a few candid shots of my husband and me talking and laughing that I absolutely adore. For our wedding Khariza arrived with multiple cameras at the ready. She took photos of us getting glammed up. She got photos of the venue, the dress, the flowers, the tables, etc. We had also hired a videographer and she worked with that team to coordinate the photos she envisioned and the video footage they needed. We got most of the shots done before the wedding started. With Khariza’s help, prior to the wedding, my husband and I had compiled a list of the group photos we wanted. We ended up taking those on the dance floor as the music started up. I was worried if the lighting would look right, but those concerns were misplaced. Either through physical or digital magic, the end results looked fantastic. Overall, we loved working with Khariza. Our photos are our favorite reminder of the beautiful wedding we had and all the friends and family who gathered to share the day with us.
