In 2003 I began my career in photography with the Maryland Film Office in Baltimore and photographed my first wedding in 2004 with my sister-in-law. I was in love! In 2007 I decided to go full time with wedding photography. I moved out west to apprentice with veteran wedding photographers in Las Vegas and Los Angeles to master studio lighting and posing techniques. I began working full time as a wedding photographer in Annapolis under my own company in 2009. Since then, I have met hundreds of amazing couples. When I'm not photographing a wedding, you can most likely find me on a mountain or the Chesapeake Bay with my family...camera in hand.

My Fine Art background and years in the wedding industry have given me the confidence to flex my creative muscles during the fast paced wedding day. You want documentation of the day but with artistic flair!

Kate is a super talented and professional photographer and we’re so happy we chose her for our wedding. From day one Kate was responsive, professional and super easy to work with. We had our wedding in Greece, and despite the language barrier, Kate connected with our wedding planner to ensure that everything went seamlessly. She asked questions and was very engaged making sure she knew every detail of the photo timeline. She even typed out an email in Greek to our wedding planner somehow!! We were very hands off and gave her complete creative control, and she was amazing! On the day of our wedding Kate showed up and went above and beyond, capturing all of the important moments, with little to no direction from us on our big day. We received the sneak peak shots very quickly after the wedding and we absolutely loved them! We are so happy with our decision to work with Kate and we definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing, professional photographer!

Our wedding weekend would not have been so perfect without Kate! She made us feel entirely calm and at ease the entire day, through all the chaos. She also somehow made it possible for us to get every photo we wanted, while also getting us to our cocktail hour just halfway through (this was with all our wedding portraits after the ceremony!). She was intimately familiar with our venues, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Every single photo was absolutely gorgeous, and I am so grateful and in awe that Kate was able to so perfectly capture the joy, emotion, and beauty of the weekend. Corina was wonderful too! The two of them created a collection of memories from our wedding weekend beyond our wildest expectations! I cannot recommend Kate Fine Art enough!
