Greetings to all you glamorous brides!!! My name is Serena and I am the Owner of Tress Art. I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for over 15 years. I have dedicated 11 of those years to styling over 300 brides for their Big Day. It’s an honor to share those final moments with brides on their special day. I live to see my hairstyles turn an aisle into a runway. When I’m not glamming my clients, I love to travel, eat good food, spend time with loved ones and work on perfecting my craft.

Tress Art is not just a business, it is an experience! Tress means “hair,”meaning your hair is my canvas and as the artist my goal every time is to make a masterpiece. As the owner, I have worked countless hours to train under some of the best in the industry to ensure that my work is second to none. I have been a bride and been around the industry for long enough to know that what people want is an individualized opportunity to transform. I use my skills and energy to give every bride just that. My knowledge and abilities are diverse as I can work with various styles, textures and techniques. I am always eager to learn and grow my business.

Hair lasted until 3am!!

From the hotel room to our 3am iHop run, my hair lasted the entire day. Serena has magic for hands, and she truly worked her magic on my wedding day. I felt so safe in her chair because I knew that she was incredible. When she emailed me that my wedding date was still open, I booked as soon as I could. Her work truly speaks for itself. Along with myself, she did two of my bridesmaids hair- one with brides and one without extensions (both are shown in the pictures). I couldn’t recommend Serena more.

She was able to deliver a beautiful style that fit exactly what I wanted, even as someone who covers her hair for religious reasons. Beyond that, she was flexible and able to accommodate styling for my stepdaughter's hair as well and it turned out as a masterpiece! On the day of, Serena helped me feel relaxed and really get into the excitement of the day. She is easy to talk to and extremely down to earth. I couldn't have asked for a better stylist to help me look and feel my absolute best on my wedding day.

A family member and make up artist recommended Serena with Tressarthair and I am so glad I had her be a part of my wedding day to style my hair. She is an absolute joy with such a warm personality who is patient, responsive, knowledgeable. My bridal hairstyling was a three day process and each visit was with good conversation and great service to prep and style my hair. My hair was amazing for my wedding! Serena is a true professional, and is committed to ensuring you are completely in love with your hair style. I had a very (very) difficult time deciding what hairstyle to go with for my wedding day, and she patiently helped me consider different styles that worked best for the weather, my dress, venue, etc. Furthermore, I have very thick 4c natural hair that she handled with great care- there was none of the damage that I typically experience after having my hair straightened. A little anecdote- so the day before my wedding, Serena had pre-styled my hair by straightening it and installing clip ins. She left me with VERY specific instructions on how to maintain and protect the style during the day as it was pouring outside. As I started to get ready for the rehearsal that evening, I realized that I hadn't followed the directions as closely as I should have and was left with a hair catastrophe. I called Serena and she offered to come to my hotel to fix it! That is an example of her commitment to her clients. The day of the wedding, she styled myself and my 9 bridesmaids, and not only did she do so on schedule, but she was honestly fun to have around while we were getting ready. My bridesmaids all remarked on how much they liked her. Our hair stayed looking gorgeous as we took pictures in the humidity and even as we danced all night. I would highly recommend TressArt by Serena's services! I can't wait to be styled by her again.
