We’re Hoffer Photography, we are a boutique studio based in Philadelphia, run by a husband-and-wife wedding photography team. Since 2007, we’ve been traveling the world capturing fun, creative, and authentic wedding moments along the way.

We’re all about avoiding the industry clichés and creating personalized images so that your wedding photos feel as unique as you are. We do that by listening closely, learning who you are and using our work to elevate your story into wedding photos that reflect the real you.

    We had Amy and Tony take our engagement photos and wedding photos. They integrated so well with me and my husband it was like they were long time friends or family right from the beginning to the tune of Amy not even hesitating when I asked her for help with my eyeliner! Everything from conversations about pricing to day of scheduling is clear and straightforward and comfortable. They are personable, brilliant and downright EXCELLENT at what they do. We didn’t have the pleasure of working with their other team members but if they ate anything like Tony and Amy you’re in good hands. Words only go so far - look at the galleries on their website. The work speaks for itself.

    Amy and Tony made our wedding day so perfect. They are incredibly talented and also super thoughtful people. They came up with a plan with us beforehand to make sure they knew what kind of photos we wanted and what we wanted to prioritize on our wedding day. We really wanted to focus on just enjoying the party and capturing lots of candids, and they absolutely nailed it. 7 months later we’re still looking at our wedding photos and are just floored by all the beautiful memories captured, and even our friends and family members are still talking about how talented and wonderful Amy and Tony are. I can’t recommend them enough.

    Hoffer Photography was an absolute delight to work with for our engagement photos and our wedding day photos. Amy and Tony are the sweetest people and amazing professionals. They are so responsive to emails and communicate clearly in person, which made an everything easy and stress free. One of the coolest things about them is how they work so seamlessly together without ever needing to verbalize anything- the two of them were moving lights and people and background items to make sure the posed photos were perfect. During the getting-ready time, the ketubah signing, the ceremony, and the reception they seemed to be everywhere at once taking candids. Between the two of them they perfectly captured the joy, energy, and emotions of our special day. The results were absolutely breathtaking, with vibrant colors, beautiful lighting, and such a natural, lively feel. They are perfect time capsules of the laughter and dancing, as well as the little details and decorations! Everyone who saw the photos complimented the quality. The Hoffers sent us a preview and the full selection soon after the wedding (much faster than anticipated), which meant we got to see some photos while still on our honeymoon. Every aspect of working with them was wonderful and I have recommend them to so many friends. We feel so lucky to have found such talented and professional photographers to document our wedding.

    Out of all of our wedding vendors we worked with, Hoffer Photography quickly became our very favorite. They are truly one of a kind. In an industry with tons of vendor options, it’s challenging to stand out however, this is definitely not an issue for Hoffer. From the very start of the process, Hoffer were so easily to work with and ensured we were taken care of every step of the way. They continued to make us feel extremely comfortable and valued as their clients. Their communication is some of the best - they were always prompt, informative and ever so friendly! We planned a PA wedding from TX which came with its own challenges but with Hoffer, they make sure it was a breeze for us. On our actual wedding day, they were truly incredible. They have a style of photography that is unique, fun and highlights the most important part of your wedding day - the love between you & your partner as well as the love from all those that come to celebrate you. They made sure that the day was full of laughs, no stress and fun. It takes very special people to be able to do that but the Hoffer team makes it seem so easy and effortless. Lastly, the photos we got back were amazing. We got a sneak peek with the blog right after the wedding which was so fun and special! Then we got the full set of photos back (ahead of their initial timeline!) and we were blown away. All of our guests raved about Hoffer during the wedding and again when they saw the photos. I truly can’t put into words how special and perfect the photos & Hoffer are (which says a lot since I’m clearly normally not short on words) Picking Hoffer for your special day (or any photography needs) is the best decision you can make - I firmly stand behind that and give them my absolute highest recommendation!
