Since a very young age I have found happiness in creative activities, and photography is no exception. During high school, I studied Art and Design and learned about composition and color. A friend asked me to join her in an after-school photography class, so I grabbed an old film SLR and learned the process of taking and developing my own photographs using a darkroom. Photography quickly became my favorite medium.

It’s now been nearly 20 years since I first picked up that SLR, since then I’ve traded the darkroom for digital techniques. I have continued to learn and have completed multiple continuing education courses, including Professional Photography Techniques, Studio Lighting, Photoshop and Lightroom, and Photography Business.
