I am from a small town in North Carolina. I grew up being in front of a camera doing pageants and modeling. I know what it is like to have no direction at a photoshoot and leave disappointed. I strive to never make anyone feel this way when they leave a session and certainly not on your wedding day. I coach you and help pose you so that you do not feel or look awkward. Photos are not only about how you look, but also the memories that go along with them. When I am not taking pictures, you can find me hanging out with my husband and two kids.

One of the biggest things that sets me apart from other photographers in my passion to deliver you with life lasting photos that you will feel good about. I want your photos to be beautiful, but I also want your experience to be beautiful too. Who wants to look back at a photo of you and your finance laughing and knowing that it was all fake? I want to make your experience enjoyable and rememberable.

    As a wedding venue owner we see many photographers here. Stephanie Small is one of our favorites. She captures the beautiful scenery along with the love each couple shares. One of the most important elements you want to consider when selecting a photographer is can she or he do a fabulous job quickly so you don’t miss out on your reception.     My wife and I had nothing short of a wonderful experience with Stephanie. She was very helpful and coordinated in planning the photo schedule, and made sure that everything happened on time despite certain delays! Stephanie was always polite and professional, easy to work with, fairly priced, and flexible (we had to have a relatively late notice change of venue). And finally, the photos were beautiful!
