We’re a family owned wedding photography company that knows firsthand that saying yes to forever means something — and we’ve dedicated our lives to helping couples immortalize that moment of “I Do” to carry them through the years. We’re an inclusive family where all are welcome!

We’re easy to talk to, a good time, take and give direction easily, and have a great sense of humor. Nervous? No problem. We’ve been there and we know how to make you feel at ease in front of the camera. We err on the side of over communicating, but will always follow your lead! As much or as little direction as you want, we've got you! During your engagement session and wedding we’ll show you photos as we go — along with 48 hour previews for the wedding!

    Crist is the best of the best. Our first experience with him was for our engagement photos. The photos were outside & the day of - it started pouring. Crist was all smiles, energy & positivity, he made the best of the situation & created the most beautiful, romantic, moody engagement photos in the rain. He of course gave us the option to reschedule if we didn’t want the photos taken in the rain - but his optimism was infectious & we trusted his vision. We knew then that he was perfect to capture our wedding. For the wedding he was just as positive & energetic, he made us feel so comfortable & confident. From the beginning he has been so responsive & helpful through all of our questions & communication. We couldn’t have asked for a more efficient, talented, kind, fun photographer. Book We The Blackwells now!

    We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to capture our wedding day! Crist not only has an incredible talent for photography but also a true gift for capturing the raw emotions and magic of the moment. As someone who’s only been in front of a professional camera a handful of times, I was a bit nervous, but Crist made the entire experience easy and fun. He made us feel comfortable and at ease, and his genuine love and passion for his craft shines through in every shot. The photos are breathtaking and perfectly reflect the joy and love of our special day. Thank you, Crist, for giving us these memories that we’ll cherish forever!

    The best part about planning my destination wedding has been stumbling upon the Blackwells. They have made this process so easy, lightweight, and so much fun. I couldn't imagine blindly putting my trust in anyone else's hands for such a monumental day in our lives. Throughout booking our vendors, we knew that the most important thing to us would be capturing the memories. I remember searching endless nights aimlessly scrolling through options until one day, they popped up on The Knot. Since then, the rest has been history! They have been nothing short of kind and accommodating. Endless rolling conversations with no beginning and certainly no end. The back and forth ideas we share. The laughs. They all mean more to us than we could ever say. From the moment I first reached out, they showed such a warmth. Something I've never seen before in a business, and something I don't think I'll see again. They catered to us, made a custom package for us based on our exact needs and budget, met with us for an extremely long time over video call, and ironed out every little detail with a fine tooth comb. I trusted them immediately. They have already earned my 5 star review simply for being the people they are. I am beyond eager to get to share our special day by their side. I wouldn't have it any other way.

    Crist and his wife Tiffany of Blackwell Weddings were the perfect photographers for our courthouse wedding day. From the moment Crist reached out to me personally after my initial inquiry, I knew we were in good hands. He was incredibly friendly, honest, and straight-forward in our communications, and his knowledge of the local area and suggested photo locations was invaluable in helping make our day run smoothly. On the day of our wedding, Crist and Tiffany made us feel so comfortable - we were instant besties! They brought a fun, creative energy that made taking photos a blast. The final results were absolutely stunning and gorgeous, capturing all the special moments of our day in a way that felt elegant and elevated, even for a simple courthouse ceremony.
