I live in New York City and Northwest CT with my wife and our two rescue dogs. I am a commercial lifestyle and wedding photographer. My creative journey began when I spent a decade touring the country with my indie rock band, The Booda Velvets. While on tour I was always taking photos with my dad’s old Pentax film camera and a Polaroid SX70. During this time, my passion for documentary style photography was born and after touring I traded the guitar for the camera and haven’t looked back.

Drawn to story telling, my photojournalistic approach to wedding photography is all about the special moments and emotions. As a husband and dogfather, I strongly believe in marriage and easily get caught up in documenting weddings through photography. I have a passion for analog whether it be film photography or classic cars and that old-school passion has always shaped the vision of my work.

    We had the pleasure of having Adam photograph our wedding in Ireland that spanned a windy, birght beach, an old, dimly-lit manor house and a sprawling field full of sheep as the sun was setting. No matter, the light, distractions or location, he took wonderful shots. He asked lots of targeted questions in the run up to the wedding so on the day of, he captured all the memories that were important to us while also staying in the background. Adam is an incredibly talented, smart and competent person. We could not recommend him more.

    Firstly, and most importantly, the photos were beautiful. Gorgeous light, warmth, and composition. Adam delivered a comprehensive selection of photos to us that really captured the energy of our wedding. He was attentive and made sure we got all the posed photos we wanted, but during the party portion was unobtrusive and able to melt into the atmosphere to capture some amazing candids. He is a very pleasant and organized person as well - with plenty of experience - so he was able also to guide us in some important decision making. This is a photographer you can trust! Recommend without reservations.
