Yes! I travel all over Virginia to provide on-site bridal makeup services.

No, but it is highly encouraged! This will give us time to figure out the perfect look for you before your big day.

Yes, I am the owner and sole makeup artist at AKBeautiful but I do have access to freelance/professional makeup artists who accompany me for larger bridal parties.

At the moment I only offer bridal makeup services. I do however have some fabulous recommendations for on-location bridal hair stylists!

Yes. My minimum service charge is $500.00.

Yes, I do. As a makeup artist, it is my job to be able to provide makeup services for every complexion and skin type. I have a very diverse kit that includes makeup shades for all skin shades, types, ages, and gender.

From our very first interaction, AKBeautiful demonstrated a precise, informative, and understanding communication style that put me at ease throughout the wedding planning process. Her work was truly outstanding - the makeup trial the day prior and the looks she created for my rehearsal dinner, my wedding day, and my bridal party/ mother and mother in law’s were all absolutely stunning. Alaina's techniques are clean and the final results resembled effortless beauty. We all absolutely loved our makeup on the wedding day! I would give AKBeautiful a 10/10 recommendation without hesitation.

From the absolute first moment I contacted Alaina, she was so attentive and responsive to me and that followed through all the way to the wedding day and even after! During the makeup trial she was incredible and knew the exact look i was going for since she had a questionnaire and wanted to know exactly what the bride wanted! She absolutely loves what she does and you can tell with how much time and effort she puts in to her work, to make sure you have the exact vision you are going for. She made me and my bridal party look and feel the most beautiful we have ever been. I would recommend her a million times again for any bride or anyone looking for a makeup artist, I promise you will not be disappointed. Alaina you are a natural at what you do!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for everything you did to make me feel and look my absolute best!!

Alaina is absolutely amazing! It was such a pleasure working with her for not only my wedding but also my sisters wedding! She is incredibly talented and works hard to make sure your makeup is exactly how you want it. She even helped cover up some tan lines I didn't want shown. Her products are durable and so long lasting, I still looked amazing well into the night! I cannot thank her enough for making me feel beautiful for my wedding day!

I can’t speak highly enough about Alaina. From booking to the wedding day, she was phenomenal. She started with a questionnaire to discuss my vision, skincare, and what makeup I currently the use. The trial was so much FUN and she took everything I said into consideration. Come the wedding day, she made all of my bridesmaids feel so comfortable. I had girls who like heavy makeup, girls who like minimal, and everything in between. She accommodated everyone’s needs and my friends have never looked more beautiful! As for my makeup, my skin has never looked so flawless! All night everyone commented on my makeup, saying it was pristine. It lasted all through the night. Photos, dinner, and TONS of dancing, everything stayed perfectly. She even gave us little touch up kits and straws so we wouldn’t mess up our lips. Thank you, Alaina, for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day!
