    We first had Amanda's cupcakes at our venue tour of Lovingston Winery. We bought four: two to eat and two to take home. Well, that didn't happen. They were so delicious, that we inhaled all four, and then two more that another couple bought us in celebration of our engagement. I am not exaggerating when I say that these are the best cupcakes you will ever eat. The flavors are so fun, creative, and DELICIOUS (and she's able to customize them), and they're the perfect amount of sweetness. Plus they're beautiful! We got cupcakes for our wedding instead of a cake just so we could have more flavors. When I tell you it was nearly impossible to choose our top three, I mean it. We had notes and multiple discussions on which flavors to pick because they were all so good. We even ended up having three more flavors for our rehearsal dinner because we couldn't decide. All of our guests absolutely loved them (even those who "don't like cake"), and the few that were left at the end of the night were perfect for us and the bridal party to snack on as an afterparty treat. Amanda was super accommodating, communicative, and the sweetest person too! I cannot recommend her enough!!!!

    I happened to stumble across Amanda's booth at the Lynchburg Bridal Expo and I'm not going to lie, her samples changed my LIFE. I knew then and there we would have to have her make our cake for the wedding. With an extensive menu and even the option to customize flavors to your desire, Uncommon Cakes is the clear choice for all of your baked good needs. We ordered a pressed flower champagne/wild berry wedding cake that was literally so good we only let our guests try the tiniest morsels (lol). We also ordered three dozen cupcakes in the flavors of Brown Butter Apple Spice (these were the first to go, everyone ate them so fast I didn't even get to try them!!), Pumpkin Chai (one of my absolute faves so l made sure I stashed some away for the day after), & Maple Vanilla Graham (my husband and I only got to try one each be people were grabbing them left & right). This sounds crazy, but we have literally NEVER had cake this good and received so many compliments of the same sentiment!! I would recommend anyone a thousand times over to work with Amanda for any event. Tasteful, communicative, detail oriented, and just plain delicious.

    My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Uncommon Cakes for our wedding cake and cupcakes. Amanda was super responsive and easy to work with, and everything turned out beautifully. Our guests had nothing but praise for how delicious all of the cupcakes were, and we loved having a small cutting cake just for us to share. We also loved getting to sample and choose from Amanda's wide range of flavors. I would recommend Uncommon Cakes for any event!

The quality of their work and the value they provided was truly outstanding. The custom cakes and cupcakes they created for our special day were not only delicious, but also absolutely beautiful. Uncommon Cakes delivered on their promise to use all-natural, homemade ingredients to craft one-of-a-kind desserts that almost looked too good to eat! We couldn't have been happier with their contribution to making our wedding day so special.
