Hi! My name is Amanda, the Chef and Owner of Gingerly Baked. My passion is creating beautiful and delicious cakes and desserts for your special occasion. I refuse to compromise quality. Everything is made from scratch, with superior ingredients, and with love.

With over 20 years of experience as a professionally trained pastry chef, I am not just a cake artist, but a master in the art of pastry-making. I take pride in my ability to cater to a wide range of dietary restrictions and preferences. Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, or have any other dietary requirements, I've got you covered. My menu features a variety of mini desserts, chocolates, and cakes that will make your taste buds dance with joy. The biggest mistake I made when working with Amanda, was not ordering enough desserts! With a smaller wedding (48 guests in total), we were hesitant to order too much because we were leaving for our honeymoon shortly after the wedding and didn't want to have a ton of leftovers. We ordered a 2-tier cake and assorted desserts like cookies, banana cream tart, fresh fruit tart, smores brownies, etc. Everything was incredible and sadly, there were no desserts left by the time my husband and I got back from our golden hour photo session. Thankfully, Amanda is SO INCREDIBLY THOUGHTFUL that she packed my husband and I a little to-go container with each of the desserts to enjoy at the end of the night when we got back to the hotel. She also wrote us a very sweet card! Amanda insisted on being hands on throughout the process which really shows how much she loves what she does. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the desserts so now I recommend her to literally anyone and everyone that needs desserts catered.

If I could describe my experience working with Amanda and the dessert selection she helped us pick in one word, I would say WOW! She truly is a master at her craft and the desserts did not disappoint! My now husband and I decided on a small two-tiered wedding cake with a wide variety of desserts, all which Amanda offered. From raspberry Linzer cookies and cannoli to key lime mousse cups and red velvet mini cupcakes, we had something that would appeal to every guest. Amanda even offers vegan options, which was great for our guests with dietary restrictions. And let me say that we received so many compliments on the dessert selections! My absolute favorite was the wedding cake though. One tier was lemon raspberry flavored, and the 2nd tier was strawberry passion fruit, AND the cake had delicious crunchy bites that added texture. We fortunately had leftover cake that we took with us and were able to enjoy with family the days following our wedding! Amanda is an absolute joy to work with and she puts in a lot of thought and effort into her craft! The taste and presentation of our cake and desserts was perfection, so thank you for making our wedding day so special! Amanda is hands down THE BEST OF THE BEST!! I love sending my couples to Amanda, because I know she is going to exceed the expectation and then some! If you are a couple that has a dreamy out of this world vision for your wedding cake/desserts, Amanda is your girl! The flavors she offers are always top-notch, and she is an absolute sweetheart! I will always recommend Gingery Baked!

Amanda prepared the desserts for our winter wedding in Breckenridge and the experience of working with her was top notch. She made the dessert planning one of my favorite parts of the wedding planning process. I really love dessert, and wanted a table of mini desserts so guests could try several treats. Our wedding was a destination wedding, and Amanda worked with me to prepare a selection of sample desserts for me when I was traveling to Denver for work. She packaged them thoughtfully and I was able to bring some back to NYC to test with the groom. She was very responsive over email and text, and she provided great guidance on incorporating gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options into the menu. Aside the process of working together being a total pleasure, her desserts looked and tasted incredible. I would hire again in a heartbeat for any future dessert needs in CO. If you’re looking for desserts, I can’t imagine a better outcome and experience than Amanda. Highly recommend!
