Q: Do you learn new songs?

Yes!! I love learning new songs or finding new arrangements. I have various arrangements of some of my favorite recommendations posted on my website, but if you don't see what you're looking for, I'd be happy to find the right song(s) for your event.

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail hours?

Yes, I have packages for ceremony only, as well as multiple events such as a cocktail hour or rehearsal dinner.

Q: How early do you come to set up?

I try to arrive between 45 minutes to an hour before your start time. This gives me time to set up my piano if there is not one on site and to warm up. I like to have plenty of time to run through the ceremony songs, especially if the venue has their own piano since every piano is unique!

Q: What is your style?

I would describe my style as classically elegant. I gravitate towards song that have flowing arpeggios that add a romantic feeling to every genre while staying true to the original song.

Q: Can you provide a piano if the venue doesn't have one?

I have a portable set up including my digital piano, stand & bench, and a small speaker that allow me to play at any venue. I also have a baby grand piano shell that you can see in my pictures that adds another touch of elegance.

Q: What is your travel and break down fee?

I charge a fixed rate of $0.66/mile for distances further than an hour from Hudson, WI where I am based.

Q: What makes you different from other musicians?

I learn new songs for no additional charge and enjoy working with couples to bring their style to the music selection. I also provide a basic recording of any new songs so that you can have confidence going into the ceremony.

Pianist

I am a trained pianist with a passion for sharing music with others. I enjoy playing a wide variety of genres including pop, classical, Christian/gospel, and jazz. I love musical theatre and finding great instrumental covers of popular music (Bridgerton style).

I have been accompanying choirs and soloists for the past 15 years, enabling me to follow along and quickly adjust as needed. I provide various recordings of my music on my website and on my Instagram page. I’m alway open to new song recommendations if you don't see a song you're looking for. I work with you to put together a music that represents your relationship and your love story and I hope you will allow me to be part of your special day.

Kyara was wonderful to work with and the music so professional. She really helped craft our prelude, processional, and recessional to fit our wedding style and structure. Kyara provided suggestions but also gave us freedom to decide the music we wanted to hear. Kyara’s contract and booking process was seamless, her positivity the day of was noticeable, and her kindness sincere. Definitely recommend!
