DJ Karizma Entertainment is a professional and interactive DJ and MC service originally from Belize (Central America/ Caribbean), currently serving weddings and special events throughout Virginia and beyond. They have been providing epic wedding entertainment services internationally since 2009 and have been based out of Virginia since the fall of 2017.

Chris August, Owner of DJ Karizma Entertainment LLC is passionate about providing memorable musical experiences for couples and their guests. Having played for people from all over the world, Chris’s clients appreciate his Caribbean/North American fusion style of entertainment, his crowd interaction skills, and his ability to read the crowd and adapt accordingly. The versatile DJ can accommodate a guest list comprised of different ages, backgrounds, and music preferences. He offers music of all genres.

Well-Organized & Enthusiastic DJ Karizma!

We chose DJ Karizma for our February wedding in Va Beach this year and first things first, his organization, communication and responsiveness were top tier. He had ceremony and reception worksheets, and song suggestions for us to review and complete which made it very easy to communicate all of our music preferences. He responded within a day or two to any questions that we had via email and text. We had a lot of expectations for our DJ such as the specific songs we chose for the ceremony, the grand entrances, reception and dance floor. We asked him to also add in some reggae vibes and all of his selections were a perfect fit for our guests. We needed his MC assistance with announcements for the audio guestbook and QR codes for the seating chart and disposable camera photo capture. He covered these announcements during cocktail hour as expected. He made sure all those that were giving a toast/speech were prepped and ready for their turn. He announced all of big moments such as the cake cutting, family dances, bouquet toss, garter toss..etc. He hosted our Photo Table Dash game and co-hosted our mini Newlywed game and his energy and enthusiasm were just what our celebration needed! We were impressed with him staying on top of everything we asked for. Our only disappointment was due to where the venue had the DJ set up (behind a curtain which obstructed his view) so our grand entrance music was cut short unexpectedly. We wish we would have communicated our expectation better with the venue as they were our day of coordinators and were supposed to be the DJ's "eyes." However, we would choose DJ Karizma again without hesitation for future events. Thank you so much DJ Karizma for making our wedding fun, hype and such a delight!!!!

We absolutely loved having DJ Karizma DJ our wedding! He was fun, easy to work with, and delivered what we were looking for. He met with us prior to the wedding and went over all details, which was very helpful to ensure we were on the same page. He curated the vibe we were looking for during our cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He did a great job hyping up our guests and getting people on the dance floor, and he was able to take the songs we requested and blend them in to create a great vibe. We would recommend DJ Karizma to anyone looking for a fun party vibe at their wedding!

DJ Karizma Entertainment was absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding! Chris, the DJ, had a professional and organized communication style that put us at ease from the start. His work was creative and fun - he not only delivered awesome music mixes all night long, but also served as a fantastic master of ceremonies, helping us organize the flow of our day and making great recommendations. Working with DJ Kharizma has been a pleasure. My wife and I hired him at our wedding, and he was amazing! He was prepared and professional from our first meeting, had worksheets that made the process for figuring out what we needed for the reception, and was available for any questions or changes during the process. When things at the wedding reception changed, as they always do, this man was prepared to work with the changes and keep the party moving and everything was so seamless no one had any idea. My only regret is that the whole thing ended so quickly, but we had a blast, and anyone who needs a DJ definitely should hire this man!
