“My Hero Zero is absolutely incredible. I've seen them countless in times in State College and my wife was also a huge fan after seeing them in Ocean City/Dewey many times. “We could not have had a better experience with Alex Nepa as our wedding DJ! We received so many compliments from guests that the music playlist was one of (if not THE) best that they’ve ever seen at a wedding! Alex had such cool transitions between songs and did an amazing job of gauging what would get the crowd going. Our dance floor was packed the entire night! As PSU alumni, we had mentioned that we wanted to enter the reception to a PSU song. Alex took that idea and ran with it - creating an AWESOME mashup of PSU fight songs and even included the lion’s roar sound from the stadium! Our guests absolutely loved it. Throughout the entire planning process, Alex was extremely helpful and responsive. He uses a user-friendly website that includes a thorough questionnaire to understand our music preferences, must-play songs, and do-not play songs. Our guests also loved the photobooth that Alex provided. The photos turned out a little blurry, but I think that’s just because of the neon sign that we chose to hang in the backdrop. He also brought such great energy to the wedding and was truly a joy to work with and have on the mic!”

“When I set out planning my wedding there was 0 doubt in my mind I wanted Sean Shipper and the Party Express DJs to be my disc jockey and MC for the night. Working with Sean prior to the wedding day is easy. I wasn’t over sold products or capabilities. He made suggestions he knew would work in my venue and even persuaded me to leave some options out because he knew additional lighting just wouldn’t work at my venue and time of the year I was getting married. We had a consultation where we discussed the wedding planner and he sent us an email the next day with things we may want to take a second look at or items we missed in the planner. The day of the wedding Sean arrived early greeted me and went right to work setting up. He was done in plenty of time for my ceremony and helped keep us on time. I originally told him I don’t think anyone will dance, and i made sure to give him plenty of space to choose songs he thought may work by reading the crowd. That decision to let him do his job without my hand cuffing him made a huge difference. People danced all night long to his music choices. When I went to tip him at the end of the night he tried to decline fat chance of that happening Sean… he earned every cent of his tip. My wife and I talked there’s a reason we choose Sean and our other vendors for our day. Professional vendors charging professional rates took care of any issues that may have happened without us knowing. Our entire day ran smoothly with no issues, why because of professionals like Sean. “I will just start by saying that hiring the Franklin & Alison Music Band was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding on 5/18/24 at the Atrium of Tenafly! We received so many compliments from all the guests for the quality of the live band we had; and to our joy, the dance floor was always brimming with people. We happened upon the band’s website via The Knot’s suggested music provider list and absolutely loved their sample videos, songs, pictures, and testimonials. From the get go, Laraine was a pleasure to work with - always clear, on point with her answers, considerate, personable, and compassionate. We spoke at length via several phone calls and email exchanges about our history as a couple and our music preferences and then we met in person to go over all the details and narrow down the list of our favorite songs, She paid close attention to the pronunciation of names, nailed the parent dance song suggestions and the timing of the different reception activities. “I cannot express how wonderful Sean was throughout the entire process. From planning to playing a killer show, Walk of Love was arguably the best part of the reception!
