“As a photographer I've worked at Mansion at Bald Hill many times, and have eaten at the restaurant as well... and every. single. time, the staff and the experience blows me away. There's an elegant, New England charm that draws so many people to plan their wedding weekend, vacation getaway, or fancy dinner there. The food is wayyy better than the food I've had from other venues and caterers. It's always hot, they always serve their guests and vendors really well. The grounds and facilities are beautiful, no matter what time of the year, as we have photographed events during the winter, summer, all seasons.”

“Back in 2021, we came to view Lord Thompson Manor as our first wedding venue. Afterwards, we only went to one other venue, and decided that there were no more that we wanted to go see. Lord Thompson Manor was the one for us. We loved the uniqueness of Lord Thompson Manor, because we are not ballroom people! We are thrilled with our decision and wish we could relive the weekend over and over. Everything was absolutely perfect. Everyone within the Lord Thompson Manor staff was so accommodating and beyond caring and kind. The staff truly made us feel like we were family. It was so hard to leave on that Sunday! The attention to detail was immaculate and hasn't gone unnoticed.
