UW Botanic Gardens has two beautiful spaces to offer. The first, located at the Center for Urban Horticulture. The second, located at the Washington Park Arboretum. Craven Farm was established in 1949 in the heart of the Snohomish River Valley. 70 acres framed by rolling hills, Cascade mountain views. We have 2 sheltered buildings, our rustic Harvest Barn, strung with twinkle-lights and chandeliers, and our open-air Pole Barn for late night dancing and drinks. We also have 2 outdoor garden sites, used for ceremonies, parties, receptions, and cocktail hours. Our King County Designated Historic Landmark farm sits on 18.1 acres on the north side slope of the Happy Valley 2 miles east of Redmond on SR 202. Established in 1907 by Walter Cooper, the uncle of the famous actor Gary Cooper, the dairy farm operated for 60 years before switching to beef cattle in the late 60s. The farmstead encompasses a gambrel-roofed hay barn built in 1925, followed by a grain silo and milk barn built in 1953.
