I do not think I could say enough good things about Nicole. Nicole was my day of coordinator, she went above and beyond making me feel reassured that my wedding would turn out amazing. She really brought my wedding vision to life. Nicole is extremely professional and just overall an amazing human being. She is extremely detailed oriented, she is great with communication, and she held my hand step by step for my wedding day. She made sure all our vendors were there, on time and they all communicated with her so my husband and I could enjoy our special day. Nestled in the Lakes & Mountains Region of NH, Come Celebrate in the Wild with No Boundaries. Wolfsburg Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From the very beginning, Ashleigh and her team were easy, kind, and incredibly helpful in making sure every detail was taken care of. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with a chic and boho-inspired style that perfectly complemented the scenic views of the farm. Ashleigh's attention to decor and design was impeccable - she has such an amazing eye for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our guests are still raving about the gorgeous VW bus that was converted into a bar, adding such a unique and memorable touch. The Barn on the Pemi

5.0

Plymouth, NH
  • Venue
  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $5,000

The Barn on the Pemi is a fully restored and renovated mid-1800’s barn. At over 10,000 square feet of event space, this venue is a rustic and expansive location in which to host small receptions or grand affairs. Surrounded by a secluded pastoral landscape, The Barn exudes a classic rural New England charm. Ceremonies can be held in our climate controlled barn, on our terrace or in our seasonal greenhouse. The surrounding mountains add a beautiful backdrop for your photos. The barn interior will host your cocktail hour and reception. Our on-site catering chefs will serve locally-sourced dishes that highlight the best of New England’s farms. You can also enjoy craft cocktails, local beer, and vintage wines from the two full-service bars that the venue includes. Ensuring your event goes seamlessly and you have the best experience possible, we provide unique accommodation and transportation options as well as an event specialist to work with you every step of the way.

Our wedding planning began with a visit to the Barn on the Pemi, and we were instantly captivated. Its picturesque setting, complete with a charming greenhouse for the ceremony and breathtaking mountain views, left a big impression. What's more, the Barn provided everything we needed, sparing us the hassle of sourcing rentals. With tables, chairs, utensils, linens, and more included, it was just perfect, especially since we had decided on a short engagement. After our initial visit, I turned to my now-husband and said, "I loved it. Please tell me we don't have to go look anywhere else," and he just smiled. My dad couldn't stop raving about the expansive menu either; being a Common Man property, the food was amazing. Our guests agreed, saying it the best wedding meal they'd ever had. The Barn's staff were incredibly responsive throughout the planning process, even accommodating a second visit so our day-of coordinator could familiarize herself with the venue. With most of our vendors experienced at the Barn, coordination was seamless, ensuring a smooth and stress-free day. The Barn is a dog-friendly venue, which was perfect because we wanted dour dog to be part of our wedding. They require someone to be designated or hired as the dog's chaperone of course, but it was wonderful to have her there with us. Our venue coordinator, Carole, went above and beyond to ensure everything ran like clockwork. From working with our day-of coordinator to keep us on schedule to ensuring we were fed and hydrated, she was a godsend. Even when my dress needed bustling or my veil went astray, she was there to save the day. Transportation was also a breeze thanks to the Barn's trolleys, shuttling guests to and from nearby hotels effortlessly. In every way, our wedding day was incredible, and the Barn on the Pemi proved to be the perfect place to celebrate our special day.

The Common Man Inn & Spa

5.0

Plymouth, NH
  • Venue
  • Up to 180 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $2,000

The first Common Man Restaurant opened in Ashland, NH in 1971. In the summer of ’72, we catered our first uncommon event. More than 50 years later, we offer 17 event venues in five locations across the state. We’ve catered to countless happy brides, local businesses, proud parents, raucous best men, bridesmaids, and delighted friends. We’ve planned perfect roasts, showers, BBQs, fundraisers, anniversaries, parties, dinners, and weddings. Our success is built on recognizing that your special event is just that, a special point in time. Our friendly, experienced catering team remains true to that understanding and is devoted to helping you realize exactly what you have in mind. We’ve renovated the event halls at The Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth and opened The Nest, a cozy event space at Common Man Ashland. We’re excited to host events at The Barn on the Pemi, our rustic event barn located in Plymouth, accommodating up to 300 guests with views of the mountains and Pemi river.

My husband and I got married at the Barn on the Pemi on 5/31/24, which works closely with the Common Man Inn & Spa. We had our room block, rehearsal dinner, and after party at the Inn, but I'm here to rave about our experience with the Spa! After booking our venue, I spoke to the Inn about any accommodations or recommendations they might have for somewhere for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready the morning of the wedding. They actually have what they affectionately call the "Getting Ready Room," which can be reserved ahead of time. I saw some pictures, saw that the room had some nice natural light, floor to ceiling mirrors and salon chairs, so I figured it was our best bet. Come wedding week and I went down to the spa with my bridesmaid to see the room and the pictures definitely did not do it justice! The room is large with a sitting area with a couch, table and chairs in the middle and salon-style chairs and mirrors around the perimeter. Our hair and makeup stylists were THRILLED with the setup, since they are used to cramped, poorly-lit hotel rooms for wedding prep! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but want to add one more thing. The night before the wedding, one of my nails (done at a salon back home) broke and popped off - nightmare! I kept the broken piece and brought it to the Spa the morning of the wedding to see if they could help. The Spa staff went above and beyond to make sure my nails looked perfect. One of their nail techs sat in front of my while I was having my makeup done, glued the nail piece back on, and put a top layer of the. white french tip and clear coat shellac over all of my nails to make sure they all looked the same. I would highly recommend the Spa Getting Ready Room for the morning of your wedding - the space and the staff are fantastic!

Awarded Best of Zola
Alex is the epitome of talent, fun, and professionalism! Due to COVID restrictions, we decided to keep our wedding to only 10 people. This meant that the video footage Alex captured would be the only real memories we could share with the majority of our friends and family. We knew we could trust him and he absolutely blew us away! Our ceremony was so windy that the 120 people on Zoom didn't hear our vows or most of our ceremony. Learning this, we were understandably upset as my husband's mother and sister could only attend virtually from India; meaning, they didn't hear or experience any part of the ceremony. Alex heard about our technical difficulties and stayed up all night to edit our ceremony so we could share it with our friends and family - only a few days after the wedding! He somehow made the ceremony video even BETTER than the day! Everyone could hear our vows clearly and he even cut out the wind to hear our cellist play with perfect audio. It's truly the most important video we own. He's a rare talent and also a delight to work with. He made us feel at ease and became a part of our wedding party. We were so lucky to have him join us and would absolutely recommend him to anyone wanting to capture their day forever!

I have been a serious and successful photographer in the portrait, wedding and fine art fields for over twenty years and while working in London, I was awarded a distinction by The Royal Photographic Society for my documentary portraits. I have also been awarded several merits of distinction and photography awards in the USA. Educated as an artist and photographer through The Brooks Institute of Photography, I was also fortunate enough to study under the late Ansel Adams and attended intensive workshops given by the top wedding photographers in the world including Jerry Ghionis, Parker Pfister, Brook Shaden, Cliff Mautner and Paulina Duczman.

There are simply no words to describe how phenomenal Sally was. We searched far and wide for a photographer who really understood what we wanted- nothing cheesy, just authentic pictures that captured our love. And boy did Sally do that! She stepped up without question when our original plans were thwarted by COVID and drove 2 hours to capture our elopement. The pictures were beyond perfect and Sally was such a pleasure to work with! We can’t wait for next year when we get to work with her for again for our reception!

We are an independent floral design studio based in Littleton, New Hampshire. We provide exceptional floral and styling services to brides and their planners throughout Northern New England. Our goal is to translate your vision into the perfect wedding day- one that you will remember forever. Each bouquet, arrangement, floral installation and décor detail is created with fresh, beautiful, in-seasonal flowers with an artful and passionate expert design hands.

Flowers are so important to me and I knew from the beginning what my vision was. A little background I am from MA and my wedding was held in Whitefield NH so I had to do ALOT of researching to find my vendors. I searched for floral shops in the area and stumbled across Emily's page and I couldn't be more happy I did!!! Emily is a pleasure to work with and so thorough. She is so easy to talk to and truly loves her work you can tell by her excitement when discussing your project and the final product. Every time we talked I hung up feeling confident about the conversation, which may seem strange to say but during the wedding planning process you would be surprised at how many conversations you have that end and just dont sit right. After we chatted a bit and I sent her my inspiration pictures she sent me back the contact and my goodness even that was beautiful! Now I am a type A personality so I am very organized and thorough myself but let me tell you that contract was excellent. It listed the flowers she intended to use and my color pallet etc. When you see it you'll know! She completely understood what I wanted every suggestion she made was right on track with my taste. I LOVE how she uses different kinds of plants and flowers and just puts it all together and your bouquet becomes an actual work of art. I was speechless when she brought them in they were better them I could have imagined they were PERFECT! Make your life simple and have Emily make your wedding perfect with her flowers and personality you will not be disappointed!!!!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.8

  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Windsor, VT

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

The BEST most nerve wracking decision we made for our big day!!! I was so nervous to go this route but trusted my gut and I’m so glad I did. FM was incredible at walking me through the process and the full service package is worth WAY more than what you pay for it. I felt incredibly prepared for flower arrival from all the phone calls, videos, and paperwork they sent including detailed recipes and schedule for the week. We had some hiccups with Hurricanes and delayed shipping. They called me to initially tell me they would be a day early. Then when they didn’t arrive called again and explained they’d been held up in customs(obviously no ones fault). They then sent out an entire extra box of blooms to be sure we got everything we needed. Flowers were beautiful!!! Spending time with my sisters and family putting them together was truly the most fun wedding prep. My guests and coordinator truly couldn’t believe we had done all our own flowers, and the best part??! We saved ourselves literally thousands!! We would recommend FM to anyone for any occasion anytime.

Clockwork

5.0

Congratulations! You're probably recently engaged, or you know someone who is, and you're looking for a killer band for your once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Clockwork will make your wedding truly spectacular. Not only will all of your friends and family be on the dance floor the entire night, but you will be showered with compliments about how awesome the band is and how much fun they’re having. And this will continue for weeks and months after your wedding!

My daughter recently got married in Newport, Rhode Island, on September 14th, 2024. She choose to have her reception in a tent on the lawn of the Eisenhower House. The venue was stunning and the woman at EH recommended Clockwork as we were looking for a local band with horns to play at the reception. We were not able to hear them in person, but all the video's posted online more than helped our decision making process and we quickly booked the band 20 months in advance, It was our second decision in the wedding process after the venue -with many, many more to come, but without a doubt - IT WAS THE BEST DECISION!!!! Booking was easy - we sent a check to reserve the date. the catalog of music they are capable of playing is extensive. But we had a tremendous comfort level with Clockwork New England as the contract states YOU GET THE EXACT MUSICIANS you see on all the website videos. There are no switches, or long lists of band members they slot in on any given day. Everyone we saw and loved are the people that showed up for our event. From start to finish - the band rocked the night away - the dance floor was never empty. They sang the bride and grooms song 'You are the Best Thing" and it was spectacular. And every song after that just got us up off our feet. The horns added so much - we keep hearing from friends asking us who they were, because they LOVED the music. The interactions with the crowd also made the night so memorable - and some of the best videos of the night. The band worked well together - and we just cannot say enough about how much they added to the party. Patrick joined a zoom call we had w our planner a week or so earlier than the event - and went over every detail - completely putting our minds at ease. 5 stars are NOT ENOUGH!! They truly made our event the best it could have possibly been! I want to do it again!

Revolution Summer Photography

Nostalgia drove me into photography at an early age - and lead me into my studies of photojournalism. We all innately know when we're at a critical juncture in our lives. For me, being able to authentically capture, to preserve those moments in a photograph is such a privilege. I know how much it means to me to be able to look back and say 'this is how things actually happened.' There is beauty in those truths. The kind of folks I work with share that appreciation.

We used Corey for our wedding and engagement pictures. We worked with him for several months and he was always super responsive and clear with expectations, pricing, and giving us ideas. The whole process was made super easy. We knew what his vision was and how to help execute it to get the best results. Expectations for the events were also made clear and put into writing which was nice. Corey also met with us remotely and in person to discuss, always making himself available with our busy schedules. The day of the wedding he arrived ahead of schedule to set up and scope out the venue. All the pictures we wanted were taken, he also captured incredible photos throughout the day which told a story of the wedding. This included us getting ready, setting up the venue, ceremony, reception, and first dances. All the little moments that make the day special are now captured in photos. Looking back through the photos, we're able to recount what we were doing and we just couldn't stop smiling. The photos are all very high quality and we're provided to us just two weeks after our wedding. We expected Corey to deliver great photos based on his portfolio but we were still absolutely blown away. These photos will absolutely be cherished for years to come. If you're looking for a professional to help guide you through the process of having a photographer, who is affordable, easy going, and clear with his artistic vision this is your guy. Thank you so much for doing an extraordinary job documenting our day
