We are a Smithsonian Affiliated Museum in downtown McKinney. Built in1900 and established in 1970. We have 54 years of service! We have the Art-O-Mat which is a vintage machine repurposed for collectible art hence the Art-O-Mat! People travel all over the world and to McKinney to add to their art collections! The Heard Craig Art Center & Museum has private parking in downtown McKinney with a private garden, gazebo, and Carriage House. The private garden & Carriage House venue space is available to rent and our main house Museum offers group tours, luncheons, bridal tea, baby showers, and more! The ARTISAN offers two unique outdoor spaces. The ARTISAN Hall Terrace and the Texas Sculpture Walk are located at the beautiful KPMG Plaza at HALL Arts. The Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Victory Park is the perfect setting for dinners, receptions, weddings or special occasions. The architecturally stunning building, houses 180,000 square-foot nature and science museum including eleven permanent exhibition halls and an elegant 297-seat theater with one of the most sophisticated digital projection and sound systems available. Events at the Perot Museum may be booked between 7PM and midnight. The Perot Museum offers a one-of-a-kind after-hours location for events from 25 to 1500 people. The facility rental fee includes the exclusive use of the reserved area, basic housekeeping and the use of the tables and chairs that the Museum owns.

The Meadows Museum offers elegant spaces for individuals and groups wishing to host special events. Museum members along with SMU organizations and other non-profit groups are invited to book space in the museum for their events. Whether you want a rehearsal dinner or reception in the uniquely oval-shaped Gene and Jerry Jones Great Hall, the Museum provides striking and sophisticated settings for events of all kinds. The intimate Algur H. Meadows Founder’s Room is an available space that is conducive to small board meetings, private dinners, and receptions. For panel discussions, film screenings, and lectures, there is the Bob and Jean Smith Auditorium, which is equipped with the latest audio-visual technology.

Built by the State of Texas for the 1936 Centennial Exposition, the Hall of State is the crown jewel of Fair Park and has hosted events honoring presidents, royalty, heads of state, and other dignitaries for over seventy years. Located just minutes from downtown Dallas, the Hall of State can be rented for private functions ranging from corporate dinners or meetings to weddings or gala social events.
