The Mt. Zion Convention Center is a multipurpose meeting and convention facility located in the newly constructed Mt. Zion Village East building along State Highway 121. Modern in design and technology, the Convention Center will serve Mt. Zion and our surrounding community as a destination for local and regional events. It has a grand ballroom that can be divided into three smaller rooms as well as three other small meeting rooms. The grand ballroom contains 11,000 square feet of unobstructed exhibit/meeting space, full-service catering, and experienced staff to help coordinate events of many sizes from as few as ten people to as many as 800 guests!

We offer a wide range of event services, allowing you to create the event you desire in our modern, industrial setting. Be amazed by the historic details of the mansion built in 1869, with it's beautiful sweeping staircase, stained glass windows, as well as the modern amenities you'd expect. Consider reserving our 7 rooms and suites for overnight accommodations for the wedding party before the event to relax onsite with confidence, and after the event to wind down. Our suites also provide ideal changing areas for the wedding party and capturing moments with your photographer. Our Carriage House is a luxurious choice for a honeymoon cottage that keeps you on property, yet privately tucked away when you want to be. We provide custom packages and choices: mimosa bars, cocktail receptions, family-style buffet, or plated formal dinners. The acoustics in the Main House will gently amplify our own piano or other acoustic musicians.

The mission of the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts is to create an environment where all forms of artistic expression are appreciated, encouraged, and seen as a contribution to the quality of life in our community. Built-in 1921 as a home for the American Passion Play, the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA), then known as Bloomington's Scottish Rite Temple, boasted an elegant lobby fronted by a graceful five-arched façade, a ballroom that could seat 1,000 diners and a 1,320-seat theatre that featured the largest stage west of New York. In 2000, The City of Bloomington formed the Bloomington Cultural District to assume ownership of the Consistory and surrounding properties to shepherd it through a restoration.

Originally designed by notable Bloomington-Normal architect George Miller and originally the home of the Odd Fellows organization, One Twenty Six has been lovingly restored and updated to create a modern event space that will leave your guests in awe. The venue has sleeping accommodations for up to 10 guests, which makes it an ideal location for those looking for more than just a reception hall or banquet center. The venue features a full kitchen, seating area, 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, 2 pull out couches, the ballroom, and lounge/billiard room where there's plenty of room for mingling with your guests after dinner! There's also a bar area where you can enjoy drinks before or after dinner if desired!

An area once reserved solely for the practical application of aging beers, and on occasion for private beer dinners, we opened up this space for guests to host private events such as ceremonies, receptions, showers & rehearsal dinners. Located within DESTIHL Brewery, the Barrel Room is where you’ll find something unique. Our modern-industrial space is perfect for the craft beer experience, a place where you’ll be greeted with our warm hospitality, and an experience unlike any other in Central Illinois.

The Old Rugged Barn property is extremely versatile and the perfect location for your rustic wedding and reception. On the property, there is a large main barn with a 2000 sq ft main floor and a large loft overlooking the aisle and dance floor. In addition to this main building, a large enclosed pavilion and grain bin gazebo also sit on the property, with multiple pastures surrounding it for either parking purposes or use for event activities. Ceremonies can be held in any of the buildings, or outdoors, so the venue can accommodate and bring to life any of your rustic wedding dreams!

The beautiful countryside, the 86 acre property has about 15 acres of grapes and many outdoor deck areas and paths to take a stroll and get away from the hustle and bustle of today’s hectic world. Darrell Best & his wife Lisa are non-denominational ordained ministers — often referred to as licensed wedding officiants — offering affordable and convenient packages to complement and honor your special day. Darrell Best was an over-worked and underappreciated banker and his wife Lisa, a much-appreciated home daycare provider. They took a leap of faith by purchasing a 1942 American LaFrance firetruck to start a business to be called Red Hot Weddings.

Honorably named “Best Man” the mobile chapel is recognized as the world’s fastest wedding chapel by Guinness World Records. Our 1942 American La France mobile chapel is the result of a $100,000 conversion on the famed TV show Trick My Truck. It features stained glass windows, an altar, two wooden pews, and even an organ. It’s been covered by the biggest news and media outlets across the globe including World News with Charles Gibson. It’s also been featured in the LA Times, National Enquirer, and made a special trip to New York City for a photoshoot with international fashion designer Betsey Johnson! We can marry you on the road or parked at your chosen location with an unlimited guest list and then deliver you right to the reception! The ideas are limitless! The Best Man may only be scheduled for use in the Midwest from the first day of Spring to Halloween.
