Spring Lake is a picturesque site situated at the headwaters of the San Marcos River, and there are several options for your special day. We have spaces available at the Headwaters Green, the Meadow, or on our Rooftop overlooking Spring Lake's crystal waters. As a special treat to your guests, you can even reserve our historic Glass Bottom Boats! Spring Lake is an OUTDOOR venue with no cover. Clients are welcome to rent tents to accommodate their guests. There is one small conference room available, but seating and availability is very limited. Please keep this in mind when planning your date and time. Texas Rock House is a labor of love. My grandparents built the house and barns in the 1940's as a working farm for their family. My mother was the youngest of seven children that grew up here. I grew up almost across the street with my mom (Joyce), daddy (Buddy), and brother (Larry). Larry and I spent almost every Friday night here - listening to his records on Grandma's old record player or sitting on the back porch swing counting the number of cars on the trains as they passed by. There are also 2 dining areas and 2 living room spaces—one with a wood-burning stove and the other with a stone fireplace.
