Something Borrowed Blooms

4.9

  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Huntsville, TX

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

Awarded Best of Zola
Something Borrowed Blooms provided the most lifelike and luxurious floral arrangements for our wedding day. The bouquets, ceremony pieces and boutonnieres were all incredibly realistic and high quality, with vibrant colors and lush textures that exceeded our expectations. In fact, as my husband and I were taking photos in a park, a bee even tried to pollinate my bouquet, drawn to its beauty and realism. Getting the boxes to the venue did require a bit of coordination, but with a little help from friends we were able to easily box them up the day after the wedding and ship them off via FedEx. We saved easily 2,000 thanks to Something Borrowed and you would never know the flowers were fake.

Bring Joy - Florals & Events

5.0

  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Huntsville, TX

I started Bring Joy because I fell in love with arranging flowers while working as a shop manager in Katy. Since 2017, I've been working hard to grow my company and have recently hired Rebecca who has been with me from the start, offering advice to perfect my arrangements. Originally from the Midwest, I now live in Houston, Texas. Some fun facts about me: I grew up with a big family, shaved my head for a liberating experience, took my first solo flight at 16, and I'm fascinated by psychology. My flower arrangements were absolutely stunning. I was SUPER impressed at how secured my floral pillars were during my ceremony. It was incredibly windy. So windy that my hair completely fell apart and my veil flew away. But my pillars stood tall and were perfection! I would recommend to anyone. She really listens to your vision and wants to dig deep and truly make your flowers unique to you. I felt so comfortable working with her and she was very response to all communication. Food and flowers were most important to me and she nailed it. Thank you so much Jamie!

Ashley was an absolute dream to work with. I found most of wedding planning to be stressful, but Ashley's professionalism and strong grasp of my aesthetic made working with her FUN. She is incredibly organized and easy to work with, and creative at how to get maximum value (and the most beauty!) for our dollar. She (and our photographer/videographer) were our TOP TWO wedding vendors because they were so easy to work with, very accommodating, responsive, and really understood our vision. If all vendors were as easy and as fun to work with as Ashley, wedding planning would be a lot better. I also appreciate that Ashley sends you a detailed proposal with pictures of flowers (including the shades) that she plans to use, which really helps you make sure that you're on the same page. Ashley was incredibly flexible about using mixed decor—some that I was able to source, and some that she provided. She was even able to find plastic planters at Home Depot so I could spray paint them gold and fake a much more expensive metal alternative! Her aesthetic isn't just limited to flowers either: she can design entire tablescapes and centerpieces that include candles, glassware, crates, lanterns, etc. On the day of, I was so blown away by how beautiful everything was! Ashley is THE best and I cannot recommend her highly enough! I honestly wish I could leave a SIX star review...but then I wouldn't be satisfied and would want to leave more and more and more! There are not stars enough to describe Arlene Rose Designs. :)

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Huntsville, TX

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
I recommend 100% using flower moxie if you want to DIY your flowers. My cousin used them for her wedding and had a great experience so I decided to use for mine as well. I was worried since my wedding was on a Sunday that a Thursday delivery would have my flowers wilting by the time of the actual wedding. It was perfect. The flowers lasted so long. The recipes for the arrangements are easy to follow. Everyone loved my florals and was surprised it was DIY. I would totally use them again.

Jen is incredible and worth every penny! My husband and I weren't very sure about how we wanted our wedding florals to look. We also didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would only last a day. We stumbled upon wood flowers and discovered Wood and Word Blooms! Working with Jen was wonderful and seamless. She helps you every step of the way to figure out what you would like. The DIY class was so much fun, and we were able to build all of our centerpieces, boutonnières, and bouquets. Jen also built my cascade bouquet and beautiful garland for us! Everything came out so beautifully and was perfect for our day. Thank you Jen!
