I cannot speak highly enough about our experience hosting our wedding at The Curtis House by Gloriosa & Co. My husband and I got married a couple of weeks ago (September 2024) and our wedding was truly one the happiest, best days of our lives thanks to the love and personalization that Gloria and Emma put into planning and executing our day. We were drawn to so many things about the venue, including the charming setting of Ashfield, the rustic but modernized aesthetic of the barn, the beautiful gardens and greenhouse, and the house being an available space to get ready. We were also drawn to the convenience and uniqueness of being able to provide our floral arrangements from Gloria’s greenhouse and gardens on-site, and having all of the food and beverages taken care of through the venue’s catering and bar team. But what made us decide to book this venue for our special day was the attention that Gloria and Emma give each couple. This venue is not your typical wedding factory that puts on weddings multiple times a week, every week of the year; Gloria and Emma host between 12-15 weddings per year and consequently each couple they work with gets full access to the venue the weekend of their wedding and so much guidance during the planning process. We were able to cultivate a vegetarian menu consisting of so many of our favorite foods plus a number of signature dishes of the venue, such as a butternut squash galette that was a crowd favorite. Sustainability is also incredibly important to us as a couple, and Gloria and Emma are committed to sourcing only local, seasonal ingredients for the food and florals and minimizing waste, which meant so much to us. In terms of decor and furnishings, the venue has so much available for couples to use, such as tables, chairs, ceremony benches, several wedding arches to choose from, displays for food or guest favors, tableware, candles, string lights, and more. We did not have to rent or coordinate anything other than the few DIY projects we made, which Gloria and Emma effortlessly integrated into the set up for us. Being able to take care of practically everything through Gloria and Emma made planning so much simpler. On the wedding day, Gloria, Emma, and their team handled the venue set up in a few hours, which happened like a choreographed dance that required practically no work from us or our wedding parties other than providing input and approval along the way. Everything went extremely smoothly and we were able to be fully present. After our ceremony, my husband and I returned to the house, where Gloria had set up champagne and a spread of our hors d'oeuvres for us to enjoy over a few minutes of privacy, which is something she had recommended we do as we took in the moment together. Our guests have had nothing but positive things to say about our wedding and it was clear the day of how much fun everyone had. We have received so many compliments about how beautiful and authentic the venue was, how exquisite Gloria’s floral arrangements were, how delicious all of the food was (even the heavy meat-eaters loved the vegetarian menu), and how this will be a wedding they will always remember. Gloria made us feel like part of her family and we were so happy to be able to support her business. We truly could not have asked for a more memorable, personalized, loving, and beautiful wedding, and hope that many other couples have the pleasure of getting married at this special place.

The Colonial goes above and beyond for their weddings, and we seriously could not have chosen a better venue. They helped make our dream wedding a reality, and our guests still gush to us about how stellar the venue, food, decorations, and the whole night was. Mary, Emily, and Anna did such a fantastic job coordinating and hosting, handling every last detail, and they were so wonderful to work with. We fell in love with the Colonial on our first visit, and it was the best decision we ever made. There are so many wonderful spots for pictures, and the style was exactly what we were hoping for. The food is outstanding and they were so accommodating for any allergies or sensitivities, I truly love that they have a restaurant there as well not only so we can go back to enjoy the food again but also because it was so convenient to have literally everything you could need all in one location. The suites are stunning and huge, and our wedding party definitely enjoyed the sauna/pool/hot tub. They made sure everything was thought of and addressed, which took so much stress off our shoulders so we could instead just enjoy our special day. Truly, we can not thank them enough for how much care and thought they put into our wedding!

At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. We were married 11/16/2024 here and we could not be happier with our choice of venue. Nancy and Donna were fantastic to work with and answered any questions we had right away. On the day of the wedding Donna was extremely helpful. We truly felt that the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good day; they checked in on my husband and I during pictures multiple times to ensure we were able to enjoy the appetizers we had selected. We got so many compliments about the food and the aesthetic of the venue. If you are concerned about food allergies, rest assured that you are in good hands with this kitchen. Anything we needed they covered right away. Our easel was missing a screw and they were kind enough to let us borrow one! We truly felt very taken care of. They were extremely patient and understanding with any decisions we had trouble making or any time we were disorganized. The wedding coordinator that they recommended to us was AWESOME to work with as well. I loved the bridal suite. We had so much space and the decor was beautiful. It reminded me of my grandmother’s house which made me feel even more comfortable. I highly recommend getting the apple cider mimosas and snacks they offer while you’re getting ready there! Absolutely kept everyone happy in the morning. Our photos and portraits that were taken both inside and outside are simply gorgeous; I can’t say enough about how good they came out. The way the lighting comes in is a photographer’s dream. The entire layout of the venue makes for excellent photos. This venue is also very affordable compared to every other space we looked at. It felt like it was made for us to get married in and we cannot wait to return there for dinner on our anniversaries. Thank you so much to the Salem cross inn for being a part of the happiest day of our lives!

We were so pleased with our amazing experience at Fern Hill Barn!! Every member of the team was consistently working throughout the day to make things run smoothly and help take any pressure or stress off us as the bride and groom. We experienced a very aggressive pop up thunderstorm right as our outdoor ceremony was supposed to take place, and I have never seen a team take action like they did. Carly kept me posted on the forecast and when we were forced to move inside, the team was at attention, putting up the sides of the tent, moving florals, and keeping everything pristine for the tent ceremony. Joanne, our banquet captain, helped me with any and everything that day - from adjusting my veil and dress, to calming my nerves about the storm, and even making sure we had our first congratulatory drinks once we were married. I cannot thank everyone enough, and we will surely be recommending our venue for years to come. I honestly could write a novel about our great experience with The Chocksett Inn, and Tianna specifically. From the beginning, Tianna was easy to work with, communicative, and so kind! She walked us through the entire process and was there to answer (and re-answer) all of my questions along the way. Not only does she represent the venue, but also acts as your day-of coordinator. I had asked if I needed to hire someone for this, and she assured me it would be all set. Boy was she right. The day of my wedding didn't go as expected (rain among other things) but she was attentive and ready for any curveballs. You would never have known that an inside ceremony wasn't Plan A. It was a day-of pivot that went seamlessly and beautifully. Tianna is truly so wonderful! In terms of the venue itself, we were so happy with our choice. The Chocksett has a lot of things included in their wedding package, their catering and accommodations are on site, and you can do the rehearsal dinner in the restaurant the night before (which we did!). This made it so much easier to keep everything organized, and our guests enjoyed the ability to stay on-site. If you do get good weather, the courtyard area is so pretty for a ceremony. Devens Common Center (DCC) was the perfect venue for our wedding. We switched venues 3 weeks before our wedding date due to issues with our original venue. The DCC staff were extremely helpful, caring and compassionate with working with us on such a tight timeline. Everything was well detailed from the food, day-of timeline, and more. They even took flower arrangements from our ceremony at a church and set them up around the head table - a great touch that we did not even plan or ask for. We were their top priority the entire night, with staff constantly checking in with my husband and I to see if we needed anything. Now that we had our wedding reception there, I could not have pictured it perfectly anywhere else. A special thank you to Ashley and Steve who were extra thoughtful and helpful throughout the entire process and event. My husband and I would highly recommend them to family and friends, and we have since had several family events there following our wedding.

My wedding was at Stonebridge on 9/16/2023 and we had the time of our lives. Jason and his team really made sure that myself and my husband were taken care of the whole day. Hurricane Lee came first thing in the morning but that didn't stop us. After clearing around 1, Jason and the team set up everything outside for a beautiful outdoor windy ceremony. For pictures, there team knew exactly were to take us around the property for the best photo shots. The food was excellent and they were very accommodating to our guests who had allergies.

There are several locations to hold your ceremony, cocktail hour in the courtyard is lovely, and the Prescott Room is a perfectly cozy space for events of 60-80 guests. The staff is courteous and professional, the food is excellent, and the space has been well-designed for these kinds of affairs. As live wedding entertainers, we've been to many wedding venues, and Groton Inn is one of our favorites. We can't wait to be back!
