I'm Jessica! After planning my own wedding, I fell in love with all things wedding & design and began my journey as a wedding coordinator. From there, I decided to learn floral design, and I've been creating beautiful, garden style arrangements ever since. Her journey started at the age of six years old, Melissa-May was surrounded by all aspects of creativity. Her ability to visualize things, put them onto paper and create anything from scratch was also apparent at a young age when she completed an illustration of her dream house, then constructed an entire floor plan and a model house made out of popsicle sticks. Furthermore, at the age of 12, her friend’s mother noticed Melissa-May’s gift of artistry and requested that she create cartoon place cards for her daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. She later was asked to create the invitations and centerpieces for her best friend’s Debutant ball.

In 2016, I started looking for creative alternatives to fresh flowers. I saw an advertisement for WOOD flower arrangements and was intrigued. I quickly ordered a centerpiece and when it arrived, I was so amazed by the product that I took the flowers apart to see how they were made. It was fascinating to me that someone would think to use the wood from a plant to make flowers. Fast forward a couple months and I started ordering raw undyed flowers, dove in headfirst, and fell in love! By using WOOD flowers, we are able to custom dye & arrange them to give a bride more versatility. I am so honored to be a small part of a bride’s special day!
