Wimpy Farms is a family farm venue located in the beautiful north Georgia mountains of Dahlonega Georgia. The farm consists of over 100 acres of beautiful streams, ponds, large hardwoods, and gorgeous fenced pastures. One of the main focal points is our Old Covered Bridge which has been a wedding site for many sweet couples over the years. We have enjoyed letting people get married, do photo shoots, and host events on our farm for years and decided that it was finally time to incorporate this fun aspect of our lives into the rest of our family businesses! “Planning a rehearsal dinner long distance is not an easy thing to do. I contacted several venues in Dahlonega Ga where my son and his fiancee were getting married. No one would call me back except for Twenty Seven on Park. My future daughter-in-law also recommended them since they had stopped in to see if it was a possible wedding venue. The size was too small for the wedding, but it was perfect for the rehearsal dinner! There was plenty of room to mingle and have various stations for desserts and refreshments. Everyone had a great time and the food was delicious!”

“White Laurel Estate is a beautiful wedding venue with wonderful owners and staff who are nice and easy to work with. The have a multitude of gorgeous photo locations. The bridal suite (getting ready area) is exquisite and looks amazing in photographs. The groomsmen have a great getting ready area as well which is very convenient and is not something that all venues have. They have a charming outdoor ceremony location underneath a beautiful Gazebo but they also have plenty of space to hold a ceremony indoors in case of bad weather. We recommend you schedule a tour with them today!”
