Belle Farm features over 40 acres with an outdoor ceremony space and a *temperature controlled* reception venue accommodating up to 250 guests. Construction on Mistletoe Bough began in 1890 but wasn't completed until 1895. The town banker had the vision to build the grandest home in Alexander City. Raising four boys and one girl, Ruben Herzfeld and his wife Julia built Mistletoe Bough with the perfect combination of elegance and comfort. From the moment you walk in the door, you’ll feel the special Mistletoe Bough hospitality. Our super-soft linens, southern-style breakfast and classic Victorian Design are only part of the story. Azalea Cove Waterside is located on Lake Martin in Alexander City, Alabama. We have great indoor spaces that can comfortably seat more than 60 for an after-rehearsal dinner and the main building can handle about 100. Outside are several covered pavilions, all with great views of the water and surrounding gardens and forest. There is plenty of room in a covered pavilion and around the swimming pools for a reception for about 300. We include tables & chairs but couples can choose their own caterer, florist, photographer, bartender, etc. for maximum flexibility though our on site wedding designer can assist and handle rentals if desired. Soirée Event Gallery is a modern wedding venue located in Birmingham, Alabama. The venue offers a versatile and luxurious ambiance with its classic ballrooms that can make each couple’s wedding day special. Soirée can accommodate up to 550 guests, with its two indoor event spaces: the Grand Ballroom, which features artworks by local artists, a marble entrance, crystal chandeliers, and ebony hardwood floors; and the Royal Ballroom, with polished walls and recessed lighting, great for a classic event space. Originally built in 1914 by the Free Masons, and served as their meeting place for much of the last century before it was purchased by the current owners, whose mission is to restore historic buildings in Birmingham. Woodrow Hall offers a large foyer and beautiful banquet hall with exposed brick, high ceilings with huge wooden beams as well as modern amenities such as plasma screen TV, LCD projector and modern lighting. This remarkable reception venue is full of unique architecture, character and warmth. It offers a timeless location for parties, reunions, corporate events and training programs. For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 600 events including 350 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.
